Boise St actually scheduled that game though. Who has TCU played this year? You said teamS. They've only played one.

It's not Boise St. and TCU's fault they get the schedules they are given? I bet a lot of the 'powerhouse' teams would be scared to play them.
no one is gonna schedule a game with boise because they get nothing from beating them and they could lose.
Yeah, Boise St. would have beat USC even worse than Oregon did.
blah blah blah......my money is on Florida and the fact that those big slow white LBs you got on defense wont be able to keep up with the SEC speed.
Id say Florida by two touchdowns.
yo it was a bye week so they just threw in some scrub team instead of not play.
TCU and Boise schedule their own opponents except for conference opponents.
fuck them, they kno how it works. If any SEC, BIg Ten or 12 teams played Boise St. schedule they would get dogged for it.
Why is that Spikes from Florida only suspended for the first half of next game for trying to injure that other player's eye? That seems like a pretty light penalty. I guess Florida's coach determines the degree of a suspension by how good of a player the person is.
yea u guys got lucky on a blown coverage, but i digress.
its not that i dont think Texas is good, i just Florida with Tebow is better. And im not a big Florida guy at all, but I havent seen a team as good as them this year.
Texas does what Texas does every year, but they dont seem to win anything.
Im not a big Colt McCoy fan.
I agree about Texas. They are going to get good players like the USCs, the Floridas, even the Ohio States, but they never do anything. They're overrated yearly. [Like some of those other teams.] I think McCoy isn't the rEal McCoy either. NFL Bussssstttt.
OSU would smack texas up if they played this year
I've seen Tebow break some bullshit attempts at tackling. Its not happening against Texas. He's not passing all over us, the secondary is too good for that, so if Tebow isn't doing it passing or running how does Florida win the game?? Simple answer, they don't. But the cool thing is that we'll get a chance to prove it on the field. No getting fucked over by computers like last year. There will be no slip ups as we've overcome the biggest obstacles standing in our way. And then we can talk. I remember ESPN running that special series "who in the history of college football could possibly beat this behemoth of a USC team, REG GEEEE BUSH!!!!!, MATT LINART, LENDALE WHITE!!!!!......blah, blah, blah.......in conclusion NO ONE, this is the greatest team EV-ER!!!!!!"........but in three hours them boys from Texas put all that noise to rest. This is our year to do it again. No one here has to believe me, it won't matter.
As for the talk about not winning anything, Texas and Mack Brown together are 8-3 in bowl games (72%) and Winners of five straight, including two rose bowls and the 5iesta.
Comparitively Jim Tressel is 4-4 in bowl games and has lost his last three.
Bobby Bowden over at FSU is 11-7 since joining the ACC (61%) in bowl games and hasn't had a team with less than three losses since 2000. I mean I guess you can get excited about winning the Champs Sports bowl if you want, but should you?
The moral being, you can talking about not winning anything but I don't see yalls squads doing any better and statiscally its actually worse. Granted Bowden does have two rings but we're catching up to that this year and we're the latest out the three. The fact speaks for themselves.
tressel def. sucks as a coach. i cant stand his ass. he doesnt know how to use pryor.. he needs to call mack brown and ask him for all the plays he used when vince young was there lol
couldn't he just study the film :) They probably ran a total of like 16 plays, including the "VY do something fuckin miraculous 1 through 10" haha. Those same plays don't work in the pros very often and the jury is still out on how his pro career will end up but Vince is one of the greatest college QBs to ever lace 'em up.
Pryor is only a sophomore and Young didnt start playing til he was what??? a redshirt Juniior.
They expect too much out of pryor...im guilty of this.
But i think the fact that they are trying to make him a pocket passer is a mistake. Cuz when he just makes one or maybe two reads, then takes off, thats what
makes us very good.
Until Pryor figures that out, Ohio State wont beat elite teams.
But Texas aint elite to me. They are the same team from last year.
I dujnno...to me its Florida or Bama
i think he'll have a good nfl career. he was the offensive rookie of the year and they went to the playoffs. the only reason he got benched because of that shit goin on where nobody could find him for a couple days and shit. and you see as soon as they started him again they one their first game.(even tho johnson balled that game but still)
just like they had vince young do. make a couple reads, and bounce. tressel aint never had a qb like that and hes so conservative already. hes not using pryor right. i did like what i saw against new mexico state and minnesota the week before where they were doing more PA and using him better. the question is if tressel is gonna be too scared to play like that against good teams.
True, but he has literally shown NO improvement at all from when he first started his first game.
And yea I agree with you that forcing him into being a pocket passer would be a mistake. He'll be ruined and we'll forget his name withen 3 years
I want to think he has a good future, but repeateatly ending games with shit like 10-18 with 125 yrds against average schools jus doesnt cut it
but we shouldnt expect him to be a great passer.
Part of it is Pryors own fault because he wants to become a passer because he wants to be an NFL QB.
I dont kno if thats possible. He just doesnt look like he gets it yet. Maybe they are throwing too much at him.
Regardless, he would be wise to not try to force the passing and have his running ability set up his passing instead of vice versa
Because no doubt about it he is phenomonal when he runs the football. I thought we would see a ton of that this year plus our great defense.
Really, if he focuses on running, then we beat USC and never lose to Purdue, but hey, thats life.
This week at PSU will be a great test.
Tressel usually doesnt play conservative against good teams, even sometimes when he should so i expect him to open it up more.
The improvements i've seen with Pryor this year he is running the option better the last few games, he has thrown the deep ball a little better.
He just needs to stop turning it over and making bad decisions. This is were i think one or two reads and then run would benefit him and the team.
i heard niggas at OSU be callin pryor radio lol
For 2011, Boise St. has now offered to play any college football team at the opposing team's home stadium, and so far hasn't gotten any replies.
"Maybe Florida and Texas don’t need a game with Boise (they can ride non-conference cupcakes to the title game). A middle of the pack Big Ten or Big 12 team certainly does though. Boise’s program is more famous than all of them – the Broncos are on true national television seven times this season alone."

i want boise to go undefeated so they'll get a game against a perennial college power in a bowl and get crushed.
EDIT: so basically michigan isnt any better this year than they were last year. a sad state of affairs.
At Michigan its not even all about the offensive system or QB.
They have nothing.
No defense, no running backs, no wideouts....
They fell off hard. i dont kno why.
Boise St. would beat Michigan 49-3
so much for oregon's NC run. they blow it against stanford.
ah the buckeyes. if only Pryor would run more and be more careful with the ball, we could be undefeated.
That defense is NASTY. Totally dominated that game.
florida better live up to their end of the deal and win out. They're lookin like shit right now. I don't want to hear any excuses when we win it all about "if yall had played florida......."
michigan has talent. forcier is a good QB but he needs work and minor is a solid RB. they gotta work on that d though.
USC is getting thumped right now by stanford.
Go P, Go I, Go P I double T

TCU wins 55 to 28 to earn a BCS bid.
I agree! I think they will. Meyer is playing conservative as hell, but they have the D to play like that. I watched UT today. Good god your defense is nasty. UF-UT should/would be an AWESOME game.
If UF chokes though, you won't hear it from me about how you shoulda played UF. =P
florida alabama is going to be the shit.
Two best teams in the land this year
LOL @ USC....wow.
wishe i could've watched that game to see exactly what happened. USCs D has been shreaded their last 4 games.
i said they'd lose at least 3 games this season.
Boise State with a tough win vs Idaho.
les miles was taking play calling advice from bill belachik. what the hell was he thinking??
