The Deer Hunter is an amazing film. Not sure I ever wanna see it again as it's so depressing, but a sublime film all the same.
If you like that, I recommend Salvador. It's another perfect film, that is so depressing you won't wanna watch it again even though you'll think it's brilliant. As it's based on a true story, you can't even say "It's only a film" and make it all better!

Agree totally! I don't really care for Scarface myself,seen it twice,no need to buy it.I bought "Carlito's Way" about 2 weeks ago,love Pacino's acting,and the action and drama is fantastic as well. I just don't much like the ending,not for the simple harsh reality factor,but when Blanco kills him its cheesy how he just shoots Guzman, and what the fuck, the cops don't see Blanco?
