Marca reports Chivu will join Real. Mijatovic was yesterday in Rome at the owners house discussing this transfer. His agent is now in Madrid.
According to them Real offered 15million plus one player which is Cicinho or two surprising names like Antonio Cassano and Fabio Cannavaro. Doubt it that Roma takes Cassano back but I'd like the idea of Canna in a Roma jersey.

I like Mavuba, he's a good player. Villarreal will need a striker now that they sold Diego though, a move for Roque Santa Cruz might suit them nicely. Galatasary are linked with him but I dunno, I've always thought he was a good striker on his day. Or maybe Soldado, he did well for Mallorca while on loan last season.

Uh, he's been looking for a club for a while now. He told the German media back in April he inteded to leave. Uli Hoeness told him and Makaay they should look for new clubs at the tail end of last season as well. Why would he stay at a club that never bothers to start him? He's behind Podolski, and the two new strikers they spent big money on to bring in, he clearly isn't wanted.Quote:
