Ahh yes... when i saw The Boxing Thread was leading the Sports Chamber I knew a De La Hoya/Mayweather debate was jumping off.....
Just like how i predicted Mayweather beat the shit out of Arturo Gotti, he will do the same with De La Hoya.... De La Hoya lost twice to Sugar Shane Mosely, and Mayweather is a superior boxer than Sugar Shane...
By the way... De La Hoya is overrated...he's a real good boxer, but not an all time great.... he fought 2 maybe 3 great fights, and he lost them all (Tito Trinidad, Shane Mosely twice and Bernard Hopkins)

^^That's a good point about Oscar matching up with Shane and coming up short because Shane IS much faster (hands and feet) than DLH and I do believe that PBF has superior speed compared to Shane. Still though, Mosley and Oscar can both take punches that PBF can't. PBF is about to experience a new level of punching power so we'll see how well he deals with it. Don't forget that little PBF has very brittle hands (like Gatti) and it's possible that he'll break his hand on DLH's chin before DLH thinks about going down lol. Peace-

I say Mayweather by close UD, but I'd like to see DLH pull off an upset.
(PBF going up in weight to fight, DLH is PBF toughest fight considering boxing knowledge, DLH has a better chin than PBF past contenders, and they say DLH is at the best shape of his life:looking: )
mayweather is being his usual and talking sooooo much shit about golden boy! im a big PBF fan, but not of his antics. did you watch his outings with 50 cent??? lolll apparently 50 is the PBF of hip hop and vica versa.
anyway, back to boxing. DLH is harder at punching and will hurt PBF more. However, the legendary status of DLH and also his skill puts his nam up there as a great fighter against PBF, BUT still, PBF will be too fast and too slick for DLH. I agree with RynMur with a close UD. PBF might not have the punching power to KO DLH.
It will be a close and a great fight hopefully. Much hype deserves much boxing action!
Fuck it, I'll go with a DLH KO in the championship rounds. It would be so good for boxing...
