You are trapped in the center of a quick sand pool with 4 ft. radius. The more you struggle the more you sink. You have 1 ft long stick. Your reach is maybe 2 1/2 feet at the most. How do you get out?

Hmmmm...

Break the stick in two, use them as paddles to try and get to the edge
Using them as daggers to pull yourslef out ?

Don't break the stick and put it under the sand...
Stab it into the edge of the pool, (the normal sand)
Then put your foot on top and climb out ?

^^^dude, its 4 feet wide! Reach your arms out as far as they can go. That's like 6-7 feet. Think about it.

I don't think it's 4 feet wide. It's 8 ft wide, since it's 4 ft in radius, that's 8 ft in diameter.

I'd say you sink, and that's that.
