that's an ill beat but the rapping makes it unlistenable to me lol
Not sure if this was known already, but Peter Nero's 'The First Time Evere I saw Your Face' is the Sunz Of Man's 'Lets All Agree'.. but the original beat was actually done by 4th Disciple's group Black Brigade, and that version whooped hella ass
I've studied the beat quite well. I've slowed it down, sped it up, filtered it etc. The melodies in theses samples are pretty close, but the instrument is wrong. Also the key is wrong in the right bpm.
The sample is still to be found in my opinion.
yo where's severe punishment at?
i think the sample to tragedy is a liberachi joint cause once i was watching a doc on john gotti and they played that sample and i recognized it so i know it was that song that rza used but i'm not sure if it was liberachi
There are a lot of tracks included Shaolin Soul vol 4 that I can't figure out in which song the samples have been used. I've tried to look around but I didn't find anything!
The songs are
Brother Louie by Hot Chocolate
Take yo' praise by Camille Yardbrough
Let Me Down Easy by Betty Lavette
Underground (Demo) by Curtis Mayfield
The Thrill Is Gone by B.B. King
Le Freak by Chic
Midnight Groove by Love Unlimited
Steal Away by Johnnie Taylor
The Champ by The Mohawks
Any info on this?
Do you need the original tracks?
Thanks!
