Been a wu fan since the beginning, and I would never think that they would do something like this. Do they think they are the Beatles, Kiss, Queen, Metallica...etc. A hip-hop group with this plan sounds crazy.

RZA Says Offers Of $5 Million Coming In For The One Of A Kind Wu-Tang Clan Album
By Jesse James on April 2, 2014
You may recall a few weeks back, the Wu-Tang Clan aiming to release a single copy of a new project. Well today their back in the news with regard to the project, as word comes down from the RZA. He spoke with Billboard recently about the project and where it stands, and he stated that “Offers came in at $2 million, somebody offered $5 million yesterday,”. He went on to add that “I’ve been getting a lot of emails: some from people I know, some from people I don’t know, and they’re also emailing other members of my organization. So far, $5 million is the biggest number,”. He then said “I don’t know how to measure it, but it gives us an idea that what we’re doing is being understood by some. And there are some good peers of mine also, who are very high-ranking in the film business and the music business, sending me a lot of good will. It’s been real positive”. The album contains 31 tracks, all of which were produced by Cilva Rings “under the tutelage” of the RZA. Stay tuned for much more on this!
^^great news
Wow
really good news, maybe we will hear it
I'm waiting for some rich arab or russian to step up.
ALL produced by cilvaringz, wow I didnt know that.
nice ringz,
didint fuck this idea up completly.
milli's son, milli's.
30 - 50 bucks for a weird and awkward time sitting amongst the stinking stench of new young wu stans with earphones on in a museum looking around doing the thumbs up to each other is still FUCKED tho.
probably being told to shut the fuck up by some art geek if one attempts to bring the rukus.
will comfortable cushions be supplied? will we have to bring our own bean bags? or will moroccan thrones with RZA headphones attached be placed around the museum?
can you give us an insight into what we should expect when entering one of these little events?
also what do you intend on doing when people propel from the roof weilding automatic weaponry in an attempt to steal this 5 million doller record?
will you sacrifice yourself for 'once upon a time in shaolin'?
this seems like a great opportunity for george clooney, julia roberts and friends.
$5mill for unknown producer...
yeah alright...
Actually I don't think that an average Wu-Tang fan cares about producer as long as the music is on point.
Only the most hardcore fans really know who produced this or that, or what sample did he use.
Obviously, there are some filthy rich Wu fans who are willing to pay money for this.
haha, i love how some of you fan boys get behind shit like this because you misguidedly think it will be "good for the wu" or some bullshit.
the music media coverage of this has been pretty funny also, they really have no idea that this is a cilvaringz album masquerading as some official work of wu tang.
i really want to see rae or ghost try to bluff their way through some interview questions about this, they probably had no idea it existed before a couple of weeks ago.
great how the clan, after generally ignoring cilvaringz' existance in all media, have now hitched their wagon to his cart.
pretty much just shows how lazy they are. they haven't even gotten around to releasing their 20th anniversary album, even though it's already a year overdue, so now have to rely on cilvaringz to make them an album and come up with the marketing scheme to sell it.
fucking jokes all round, i'll probably download this if it leaks - i'm sure it will be purely mediocre.
and it keeps getting called a "top secret album" ahaha. yeah, pretty sure this huge secret has been gestating in a stickied thread in this forum for years now.
all you guys are on the money. wu tang has been at odds with it's audience since the first wave of albums. funny how a group whose success is completely owed to their fans could resent that very fan base so much.
this services to impress people who have a passing interesting in wu tang as a curio of 90s hip hop and generally think of the genre as a novelty.
anyone with any real interest in the group has to be pretty disillusioned by this ridiculously theatrical album release.
