The sample for Inspectah Deck's Dreamcatcher, Anita Baker's cover of Mystery by Manhattan Transfer, some smooth shit from the 80's
Even though this song is slept on, it's a favorite of mine from his recent catalog: Download - http://usershare.net/053d3z2ak83e

blue raspberry - feeling incomplete (out of the blue)
WHATS THE SAMPLE?¿??
This post is hella old but I've got all the volumes, 1 -4 , in my vinyl stash. I've got doubles of each. I have three copies of Vol. 3 (two are test pressings and the other is the regular release). The drums on these LPs hit hard. They were originally played by Carlos Bess, Ralph Vargas, and DJ I-Cue. All the drums were recorded live and were chopped and looped in an Akai s950 for the 12 bit warmth.
@Smoke_Fist28, damn, can you upload those homie?
no doubt upload dat shitttt
@smoke: yo, thats how we do 2 with the drums, straight into the 950 .... So damn grimey after the 12 bit magic.... And they sell these lil magic machines for about 150 bucks in the net nowadays, it's crazy.
Peace
Anyone know where DJ Premier or Bronze Nazareth sampled this from? Both songs sound very similar, cant even say if they used the same sample....

Working on the uploads! Just grabbed a USB powered turntable and some softwarez for this project. It may take a minute but I'll get them up here. I do have a mp3 CD of Vol. 3 so that'll be uploaded this weekend!
@ Cilva, I'll upload them. No problem. But I would appreciate your honest, unfiltered opinion on some of my work as a producer. You probably get a million and one requests like that but you, Cilva, were like one of us so you understand the struggle, hunger, and desire. Now you rub shoulders with Clansmen and get to work on some of their projects. For a no-name like me, to be in a situation like that would be something really positive.
I actually have the mp3s of Vol. 3 on a jump drive here and I didn't know it. I'm going to drop.io this joint and post the link for ya'll here.
