Anyone look up their stats on officialpokerrankings.com?
I guess some people e-mail them to hide their stats but I like looking at my own. Especially since they put the SNGs in it makes it easier. Im not doing too bad at the micro tourneys...from my long time off Im making it ITM and final tables but im not finishing off from lack of stamina.
I finished 5th out of 3096 in a $2 last night...$247

I started playing super turbo sngs. blinds increase every 3 mins and you start with 300 chips! anyone have any strategies for this? Its like you go all in with any top 5 hand.

Ive been building thought limit tables.
I did something stupid yesterday. Busted out on the 1/2 table, then the .5/1 table twice. Then decided to go to the 2/4 tables...of course at that level and at limit the suckout rates are even higher....could never grind out a top pair flop on those tables. Luckily I wasnt getting angry at bad beats and starting to play hands I normally wouldnt play.
I got my money back and then some but I was still stupid trying that. I guess its been a while since I had multiple bust outs in a row like that on money tables.
But Rock youre right on one hand....you never need to raise at those tables. I only raise on the turn or river if I have the nuts or starting with a top 5-7 hand in good position. Raising and grinding only to get sucked out on the river sets you back about 100 hands.
I finally got my account over $500 with just over a month playing...started with $10 that my brother gave me. I first built it from low SNGS.

Never played everyday...just casual hours most days. I guess I was mostly sucking out at the low money limit tables. Variance seems to be around $40 so yes I was playing a little out of my bankroll.
Pretty much exclusively playing cash games now with a full range of players.
It's been going ok.
I need to get into the habit of concentrating for more than 10 minutes again though.
