the whole book was def. great...and ya calliope...the book is obviously different from the first 2, aside from revisiting the shekespeare (sic, eloels) story. Morpheus as a cat was too cool.
^^^ya the series gets progressively better...i think it peaks on 'a game of you' or 'brief lives' but it's consistently good

it would be interesting to have a superhero continuity that showed an actual divergence from history based on things like teams of heroes fighting in ww2...like watchmen but taken even further, like superheroes intervening in the civil rights movement, the space program, etc...

Bling!, Nekra and Frenzy tackle Moonstone/Ms. Marvel.
Match, Magma, and Colossus brawl with Venom/Spider-Man (who blows his ID as Venom on camera, btw)
X-23 takes on Daken, solo at first, then gets help from Armor and Pixie.
Wolverine, solo, takes on Weapon Omega, and does mention he's sore that he killed Alpha Flight as he stab-stab-stabs him up some more (he did so with X-Force last chapter, for those who missed it.)
Namor grapples with Sentry until Emma Frost, with some help from Professor X telepathically take him off the board, and Bob/Sentry is fleeing from his own boogeyman, the Void.
Cyclops does get roughed up by Norman Osborn, but his plan works, so there's that.
Ares is taken down when Dani Moonstar returns with her Valkyrie powers (Hela has her as a god-slayer, but a full explanation is sadly not given to what that entails) along with Cannonball, Karma, Magik, and Sunspot backing her up.
Dark Beast seems to be alright against Northstar and Dazzler and is looking pretty crafty, until he's overwhelmed by Psylocke, Madison Jeffries, and Dr. Nemesis.
Mimic is at first, overpowered by Iceman, and once he's on the ground, Mercury, Onyxx, Rockslide, Graymalkin, Anole, and Surge dogpile him with more powers than he could ever hope to even try to duplicate.

Aftermath: Another Scott interview with the media, another Osborn "spin" press conference. Emma's stuck in diamond form because she's got a sliver of the Void stuck in her forehead after her time helping "Bob" out.

Selene has a whole crew, which includes Eli Bard, Wither, Senyaka, Blink (616 version, she even has the same hairstyle she did during Phalanx Covenant, where she apparently DID survive) and the glorious return of Lois London AKA Mortis. They stage a jailbreak, apparently to make those who "opposed her godhood" pay. We then are shown what appears to be Blink leading some T/O zombies to the new island home of the X-Men, Utopia, where the warden of its prison, Danger (yes, that Danger.) is shorted out, and the holograms that her prisoners were kept in place by are broken. Sebastian Shaw, Donald Pierce, Empath, and the Tattooed Devil from Lovelorn are panicked, and unsure what's about to happen.
