After the first listen I'm not impressed. I didn't get the feeling I got after listening to Raekwon's new project. Ghostface still has it lyrically but the biggest problem is the production. Why not use RZA, Bronze Nazareth, Arabian Knights, True Master and DJ Mathematics? Damn Ghost. I agree with some of ya'll; he should have called it something else. Raekwon's project is a 8.5/10 for me. SC2 is definitely a 5.5 or 6/10 at the most.
Does anyone have the official full production credits for this?
We know a few, the singles and obviously 4th Disciple. I know Chedda Bang did Iron Man track and I thought I heard Ghost shoutout RoadsArt on The Trial..
But I read somewhere that 7L had something on there. Can’t find anything official though

George Porgy was surprisingly good. The gem for me is the track with Nas and I cannot believe he left it at one verse. Should’ve just asked GZA for a verse in the vaults so he could have his 2 favorite rappers on one track.Quote:

Not sure what you guys are listenin to. Album is dope. I can see why he chose to call it SC2. Style, beats, flows and wordplay are 100% in a similar vein. Mixing needs some help tho.
4th disciple, windows, Georgy Pordgy, break beats, beat box, rap kingpin, into the trial and love me anymore wit nas then soul thang....shits banger after banger. My neck hurts.
It's not a classic like SC but I don't think anybody should've been expecting that.
I wish there was more general wu involvement. Beats and verses. Redman verse woulda been dope. I can hear Rza on break beats, MK on georgy pordgy, 100% Rae on 4th disciple, meth on more than 1 track, etc.
Albums too short and some features would've made it a better length. BUT it's a Ghostface solo album in 2025 so we got Ghost spittin over dope beats. I can definitely appreciate it

Exactly. I think the main issue here is the name of the album. If he would've called this shit "Golden Eagle on my Arm" or something like that this would be more received. SC2 so people will have way high expectations for a 55 year old rapper for some reason. It's nostalgia. I like it for what it is.Quote:

Right. This is where I’m at with it. I give credit to 90s rappers who still sound fresh after 35 years. We’ve never had this before in Hip-Hop. 80s Legends like Kool Moe Dee and Melle Mel sounded outdated before they even got to the 90s.Quote:
