Without trying to sound xenophobic, the trend of foreign investors with exclusive short term profit interests, and no interest in to the intrinsic value of the thing nor the meaning of it to the public or locally. You can see this with football clubs falling into foreign hands, video game studios, bigger parts of a city were all the housing is bought by foreign investors. To add to all this nonsense either the US embassy or a US base in Northern Iraq is on fire right now. Nothing confirmed but it's said a missile hit the base/consulate in Irbil in N.Iraq.
