Yo could you recommend 2 new releases to get? ive ordered 2 Pharcyde albums on wax, i think they wont be shipped anytime soon tho (Labincalifornia, Bizarreride 2), so i need something to bang meanwhile !
Everlast - Love, War And The Ghost Of Whitey Ford
Capone-N-Noreaga - The War Report 2: Report The War
Nas - Untitled
T.I. - King
Lupe fiasco - Food and liqour
Got them all three for less than 18 dollars at some random record shop.
Always heard positive about Lupe so thought I should check his music out. As for the T.I. album, I wanted to see what the hype was about.
^ Food & Liquor is awesome.
I got the Best Buy exclusive version with 3 bonus tracks for $8 on the day it was released.
yeah i got the albums a few days ago and been banging the shit out of them all. The Roots album is the best of the year and about Common's "Finding Forever" i've listened to it alot when it dropped but never got around to buying it. it's definitely a good and enjoyable record - if you liked "Be" you will like "Finding Forever" too since it's made from the same formula. Common is being Common and Kanye is being soulful Kanye and that is a dope collabo. check it out!
have you checked out Erykah Badu's album that dropped this year? it's the most underrated joint of 2010 imo, beats from Dilla, Madlib, Questlove, James Poyser, Kareem Riggins, Sa-Ra, Georgie Anne Muldrow and some more. definitely worth checking. the Reflection Eternal album is gold too!
Word. The Roots' album is most def worth the title as best of the year.
must admit, when i first copped it, i didnt expect the shit to be this banging. as for "Finding Forever", shit sounds very interesting, i havent checked it out yet, but if its the same formula as "Be" then i wont be disappointed.
Damn, can't say that i have checked it out. haven't really been up on Erykah for a long ass time, but by the sound of it, i think i gotta go cop it and same for Reflection Eternal. Heard one ill fucking joint of the album, can't remember the name of the joint, but it is on my "must have, must get" list thats fo sho.
Thanks Claaa7.
i guess i gotta go cop these 3 albums, got a feeling that i might regret if i don't!
I just picked up Remedy Code Red on the cheap. I really don't like this dude but he does have some good individual joints with wu features. Being the wu collector that I am, if I can pick em up cheap, I will.
