Cowboys and NFL officials are in agreement that Josh Brent will not be permitted on the team's sideline for the remainder of the season, according to team and league sources. Brent, who is charged with intoxication manslaughter in the death of teammate Jerry Brown, was called by numerous teammates encouraging him to come to the game. The Cowboys players were trying to support Brent as the mother of Jerry Brown requested.

It's sad what happened, and lots of people were against The Cowboys having him on the sideline, however if that's what the mum of Jerry Brown wanted than I don't think anyone can argue against it

the NFC East is still a better division than both Wests, Souths and the AFC East. the competition level is still there in interdivision play, cept for da eagles.
i tell you what tho, the NFC and AFC Norths are the best 2 diviosions in all of football right now

I don't really see Tebow starting for any NFL team. Third string at best. They were saying in an article that he could possibly head to the Canadian League to improve his passing, and then try to come back to the NFL to get a better spot. NY Jets ready to get rid of Mark Sanchez, will explore trade market for former first round pick
In order for the Jets to pull off a deal, they would almost certainly have to absorb the bulk of Sanchez's guaranteed $8.25 million base salary for 2013. The likely out-of-pocket ceiling for potential suitors would be $3 million.
The Jets' need to replace Sanchez with a veteran signal caller could lead them to another player who has fallen on hard times recently.
The News has learned that Michael Vick, who is expected to be released by the Eagles shortly after the season, would be amenable to coming to the Jets if Sanchez is out of the equation.
"Bring it on," one Jets source said about signing Vick if he becomes available. "He was hit too many times (behind a subpar offensive line) the last two years."
Rex Ryan may be the X-Factor to land Vick, according to sources. Ryan has always had an affinity for Vick, who could potentially help save the coach from getting his walking papers after the 2013 season.
"(Ryan) loves him," a team official said.

I could actually point to several different games where the opposing team has capitalized on the extra possessions Luck has given them early in games. Just because it isn't a pick 6 doesn't make it any less demoralizing cause it still leads to points and is still considered being put in a hole by their qb.Quote:

Andrew Luck is the only quarterback I've ever seen with a sub-80 QB rating, 18 interceptions with a TD/INT ratio of 1/1, leading the league, and a sub-55 CMP% and yet actually be as praised and heralded as he is.

manning's backup last year only won 2 games with all of mannings weapons including reggie wayne. other than reggie wayne, all those players are gone, new coaching staff, no running game, no offensive scheme protecting luck from mistakes. they put the offense all on lucks arm. they're 9-5 despite all those picks so clearly their not hurting them that much.

luck has shown great promise as a QB while Rg3 has shown great promise as a RB who can throw it.
I think The Colts, Redskins, Seahawks, Dolphins and Browns are in good hands with their QB's, like this rookie class as far as QB's go could be the best ever when it's all said, and done!!!!

Again Luck is overvalued because of how bad Curtis Painter, Kerry Collins were. Dan Orlovsky was the best QB on that team last year. That ought to tell you that their record last year wasn't any indication of how good that team could have potentially have been even with an average QB.Quote:

the redskins have always been a run first team, when they have a qb or not. check the history and tradition if you dont believe me. just imagine if the skins had that extra $16 or 18 mil the league took from them just befor free agency on some bullshit. we got a kicker that nobody is talking about also. we are winning because we are hittin on all cylinders. the coaches know what they are doing and team is pickin up what they're puttin down.

RG3 is not a 'running QB'. He's a QB with a cannon for an arm and very good accuracy who also happens to have elite speed. If the Redskins decided next year to quit running option plays, Griffin wouldn't suddenly become ineffective.
Cam Newton, Tim Tebow, Michael Vick, and Vince Young have all ran for that many yards/tds and never had a qb rating as high as a rookie Griffin. next excuse?Quote:
