This is truly mind blowing. In last couple of days, no less than a handful of the most sought after samples have been revealed.
I played around with the commodores sample and it is without a doubt the correct one.
One reason it has taken so long to find 'Tai Chi' and 'The night earth cried' is because they are flipped the same way as 'Shook Ones' sample , i.e. one short piano piece repeated in a different pitch right after.
Soob, is there any chance that this DJ guy also sits on the MGM sample?

This leads us to a couple of different conclusions:
1. rza stitched together different parts of the track, thus getting rid of the vocals
2. it was sampled from different version of the same track, perhaps stereo or mono (which is often the case)
3. the vocals could somehow be filtered out using some filter i havent got access to
4. its not this sample.
Hard to say man -- you may be right saying that the sample is incorrect. RZA could use a spiecal filter for that as wellQuote:

At first I really thought you hit the jackpot, but it's probably another sample. When you listen to "Glaciers of Ice" the sample cut RZA used seems a bit longer than the loop you hear through the entire song, there're moments when he changed it and let it play a bit longer.Quote:
