there arent a lot of teams that will continue to play well without their starting QB and are left with a backup with no real-game snaps. has nothing to do with the defensive side, but their offense is toast. without a legit throwing threat the defense can play the run and blitz all night without a care in the world.
bama has no reason not to win at this point. losing a starting QB is a whole lot different than a lineman or a DB going down.

As it is I got a true freshman in for my team seeing his first game ever, I don't like the odds and shit is looking grim. You're still gonna see a fight and if we pull off an upset I won't be surprised. That is still texas finest on the field everywhere else

Alabama let Texas back in by handing off 95% or the time after they went up big. While i was watching the game I said, they need to put this away now and keep it full throttle because this is college and anything can happen.
And thats what happened. They laid off of the freshman, played conservative on offense and basically took the whole third quarter and half of the fourth quarter off.
But when they needed to kick it into gear, they finally brought the pressure back and boom....dude fumbles...its over.

im not celebrating too much if im alabama fan. they got a cheap one last night. its not fair to the tide that they cant say they took the best texas had to offer and came out victorious.

Im celebrating because we won. They were the all around better team. They put up 37 points, ran the ball at will and didnt even have to throw.
Texas got two cheap possession early on and couldnt do anything with them. One of them was WITH McCoy.
The Gilbert kid played well and has some potential, but I got to see alot more before I call him a Heisman candidate who can lead Texas.
