So it looks like the Undertaker will be losing the title soon, cause of his injury? Possibly next week?
What ya'll think of Paul London and Brian Kendrick? I been a fan of theirs since they started in Smackdown! but being that I don't catch many SD!s (being they are on Friday night), I don't and haven't followed up with them over their year-long title reign. But from what I have seen of them, they are really good. I liked London as a solo guy back a few years ago and Kendrick matched his style perfectly. I did see them lose the titles to some gay ass group (Domino and Duece?) where I thought Kendrick would have won all alone which would've been better for Storyline purposes. But they didn't. Haven't caught SD! since that episode. Just wanted to know if anyone else thought they were as great as I think they is.

When and where were Amazing Red and Eddie Guerrero a tag team? I used to watch Red wrestle almost every month at local indy shows, a few years back. He was one of my favorites to watch. They should bring him to Smackdown, to have some matches with Rey Mysterio and the other cruiserweights. Also, Brian Kendrick I saw locally, I think he was referred to as Spanky back then.
i used to watch wrestling as a kid, i liked Hogan, Sting, Goldberg, Undataker is ill, rock, sid viscious etc.. it was fun to watch way back..
Glad to see the Hardyz are tag team champs again though. I really hope Christian will come back as well so you can have the Hardyz vs Edge & Christian like the good ol days of WWF

Also glad to hear Mr kennedy is only out for 6-8 weeks rather than months, would be cool for him to come back and feud with Edge.
Yeah, that was kinda messed up how they thought Mr. Kennedy was going to be out six months, so they had him lose that quick match to Edge. Edge becomes the new champ on Smackdown. Then the next day, they find out that Mr. Kennedy doesn't need surgery and should be back in 6 to 8 weeks. lol I didn't see the Mr. Kennedy/Edge match though on Raw. Did they set up an injury angle for Kennedy during/after the match?

As things currently stand, Rob Van Dam will be finished with WWE after the One Night Stand pay-per-view on June 3rd in Jacksonville, Florida. While WWE Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis was told to re-sign RVD and made an effort to do so, negotiations have ended, and RVD will be leaving the company.
Bad blood has brewing between Laurinaitis and RVD since Laurinaitis was going over the new company policy that talent could not leave the arena on TV days due to the fact that Sylvan Grenier got a speeding ticket after rushing back to the arena after leaving to go to the gym. During the meeting, RVD sarcastically asked the question if they could go to the gym in the morning before the shows.
Perhaps the breaking point in Van Dam’s relationship with WWE occurred after he learned of the re-forming of ECW and asked to get off of the RAW brand to head the resurrection of ECW and what really happened after that. Also, RVD had asked for time off after signing, citing how WWE offered Big Show a deal where he’d be paid for merchandising rights without having to work for a year. People within WWE felt that to be a dangerous precedent and refused to add that stipulation to his contract.
RVD felt that WWE had limited what he can do in the ring and refused to push him in comparison to Bobby Lashley, when Van Dam felt like he was over way more than Lashley. While RVD’s WWE finale will be before his contract actually expires, he’ll be paid until the end of his contract, but will be off of television to prevent him from working with TNA fresh off his stint with WWE.
At this point RVD is looking at working a limited schedule and make some money from special appearances and autograph signings. RVD also wants to take some time to spend with his wife, whom he has said to love to death, and hates being away from.
Man...this sucks. After Austin, The Rock and Mick Foley were gone WWE has been wack. RVD one of reason I still watch WWE post Austin and Rock era. The only guys I like from WWE are The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Ric Flair, Rey Mysterio, Sabu , The Sandman, Tommy Dreamer, CM Punk and Edge.

I don't think they would have taken the money in the bank away from Mr. Kennedy, if he hadn't gotten injured. Edge already won the money in the bank not that long ago. I think it was a good idea to give it to somebody different. Plus, I'm tired of Edge being in the title picture right now.

What I don't get is why aren't good wrestlers getting a good push. You may not agree with me here, but Val Venis is a pretty talented wrestler. They have him jobbing on heat every week. Another is Carlito, although he may be getting a push soon. And Shelton Benajamin? They stick him in a shit tag team. Also, I really don't like Cade and Murdoch at all but their recent "face" turn has me semi interested.
I agree, though I think TWGTT are a good tag team but are just underused. They should be in tag team title matches, they could have awesome matches against The Hardyz im sure.Quote:

regal has een one of my favroites since 93. its a shame that i think he was use properly in wcw then wwe. funny thing is he hated his time in wcw. I just loved in wcw from 93-95. he was a great heel world televison champion with great wrestling skills. i just loved watching him wrestle guys like ricky steamboat, marc mero, fit finlay. his best wwe year was in 2002 when he was the ic champion a time when the ic belt meant something. he lost the title to a well deserved rvd. hell wwe give the ic title to regal have him lose it to someone worthy of its possesion

WWE has made another dumb move. ECW hasn't been the same of course 'cause ECW is doing it the McMahon way with no Extreme Rules Matches every week. But with the ECW originals around ECW is on life support. Now that RVD is deciding to leave WWE and Sabu released. WWE is really going down the toilet. Also with the Undertaker out for 6-8 months, Triple H and Rey Mysterio injured I don't think I'll be watching WWE for a long time. Well only be watching Raw when Shawn Michaels comes on and watch ECW. Smackdown sucks without The Undertaker and Rey Mysterio. Though I like Chris Beniot and Edge.

Wade Keller of the Pro Wrestling Torch is reporting that RVD is officially done with World Wrestling Entertainment as of last Wednesday. His match with Snitsky on this week's ECW show will likely be his final match with the company. RVD has already made it clear to WWE he will not be re-signing with the company and they feel keeping him around to burying him on TV is not worth it.
Although RVD's WWE contract does not expire until late June, WWE officials are giving him an earloy released because they had nothing for him creatively. Despite the early release, RVD has a no-compete clause and will not be able to show up in TNA immediately.
RVD is is expected to sign with TNA after a much needed break from the pro wrestling industry. One of the major issues that prevented him from re-signing with WWE is that they would not give him the vacation time he was asking for. RVD is looking to work a reduced schedule, which TNA offers. Expect RVD and Sabu to jump ship to TNA in the coming months.

Dave Meltzer is reporting that Shawn Michaels has blown out his knee. Michaels' injury is considered serious. He missed last night's Raw brand show due to the injury. Despite the injury, he is going to try and gut it out and work tomorrow night's PPV.
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin, The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Mick Foley and Kurt Angle are gone from WWE. Rob Van Dam and Sabu leaves WWE so ECW is going down the toilet. Well, Triple is supposed to be back this summer, probably in time for Summer Slam. Rey will be coming back also. John Cena is hated by a lot of male adult fans. But a bunch of the female fans and kid fans like him a lot, which makes it about half cheers and half boos for his reaction.
I'm not really too sad to see Scotty too Hotty go. I'm pretty surprised that he wasn't released sometime ago. I'm not saying that he's a bad wrestler, but they should have given him a new gimmick already. That lame gimmick has been stale for several years now.
I dont think WWE is done, yes its lame that all the good guys are getting injured but that only means things are going to get more interesting.
The week Edge won the money in the bank then World Heavyweight title was much better than what usually happens (though the Taker/Batista feud was good imo).
With all the injuries they have to think of new storylines and push wrestlers that wouldnt normally be pushed but still deserve it. I'm sure they will think of something interesting to keep the show entertaining until some of the big stars return. (I hope)
