What's up with the Jaguars this year? After Brady went down for the Pats, I thought that the Jaguars could be one of the contenders in the AFC. But they are embarassing this season. They give the Bengals their only win of the season. And they get stomped on by the Texans on a Monday night game, who most people don't even know exist.
Also, what's up with the Chargers? They should have been a serious contender too.
not a chance
they are such a horrible team... like disgusting horrible. and i hope they do win one but it is very unlikely my boy is a huge lions fan and he even knows their doomed hes so depressed. I really wish they would win one... but the vikings the colts the saints and then the packers who might be trying to get that wildcard spot.... not a chance...
2008 season LIONS 0-16
The Texans are a lot better than what most would give'em credit for. This wasn't some kind of fluke performance it they'd have taken better care of the ball throughout the season they'd probably have another 3 or so wins than what they currently do (and that's definitely the case in their first loss to the Colts this season)
Our current GM has been making great picks in the draft. I think we load up on D in the next one and really turn some heads in 09.
Yeah that was a good win for the Texans on MNF. First time there since like 94, as the Oilers. I can't believe the Texans haven't gotten better yet. They're still the same they always are.
Whatever happened to Domenik Davis? Dude straight fell off. Slaton or whatever they say is having a good year. Andre is a beast. Giants should get Andre Johnson (wishful thinking) now that Chedder Bob may be done and we're gonna get mad money back.
I've been to ever game this year, they've definitely gotten better but you're not neccessarily gonna know it by reading recaps and looking at box scores. We're a couple of pieces on D away from being a real contender but IT IS only A COUPLE of pieces that we're missing. If we find a couple of good safties, a bookend for Mario and a rush specialist @ OLB, the Colts will be getting their asses handed to them (along with the Jags) on the regular. That's the real future of the AFC South- Texans vs Titans.
And you can go head and can the thoughts of AJ leavin. He signed a contract extension not too long ago that basically made him a Texan for life (or atleast till he's in his mid-30's) Just the way it should be.
As for Davis he blew out his knee and just never recovered. Slaton was a great find in the 3rd round something the new GM has been doing a lot of since he took over for Casserly's sorry ass. The franchise is moving in the right direction.
Texans still have some proving to do, that's for sure. We'll see what they do next year.
yep, until you got an assload in the W column and some playoff wins, always something to prove
A playoff appearence alone would be a huge step for ya'll. Fuck a gangload of W'z and playoff wins. I forgot...ya'll starting QB when out this year too right? Ya'll had the ATL dude...Shaubb right? WAs he any good before going out and do you think with him still there, ya'lld have some more wins? Rosenfels is just a straight up bum.
Schaub wouldn't have had those turnovers against the Colts, so atleast one. But on the real, offense hasn't been the problem in general (with the exclusion of idiotic turnovers) It's not being able to get stops on D, especially in the redzone that has killed us this year. That side of the ball is where they need to concentrate in the offseason.
Schaub is a good QB (maybe not great) that's accurate and knows the offense. The problem is that he'll hold the ball too long at times and has yet to go through a full season healthy. The jury is still out on whether he's the long-term answer but for right now I'll give him the benefit of the doubt
Plaxico Burress is just another example of the Pittsburgh Steelers being the best team at knowing when it's time to let one of there players leave as a free agent.
probably the only exceptin to the rule in the last 10 years is joey porter.
shut the fuck up
you still have holmes
holmes isn't a free agent yet. and a dude i know is the one who arrested holmes on that marijuana possession, or we would have beat you
Santonio Holmes is a fuckin pimp...so he likes to puff on a joint or two..big deal.
Yeah, I saw that the Texans opponents this season were like 9 for 9 on fourth downs(picking up the first down) against them, up until last night. lol
