i read that too. when psv signed him as a 17 year old they wanted him to get bigger so they pumped him full of anabolic steriods. when that happens the muscles get bigger but ligaments and what not dont and the body cant sustain things. sounds like a plausable explanation.

It was typical Liverpool to beat Inter, they have been playing shit recently but i wouldnt be surprised if they went on to win it. I really hope not though :eggy:
in all fairness if matz doesnt get red carded i see no way liverpool winning that game. inter held them off for 85 minutes than just got unlucky. i wouldnt be suprised if inter still moved on.

well Inter just doesn't have any luck in UCL....but at least no Materazzi the next game... i hate him, he is the only member of the team that always gets on my nerves
i missed nearly the entire game. i watched it from the 82nd minute i was shocked at the way liverpool were dominating. then i counted the number of inter players. liverpool were lucky. getting 2 yellows in the first 7 minutes just seems like the ref was a cunt towards inter.
but as a liverpool fan i take the victory and all its glory. i still cant get over barnsley though.
