What are your unpopular opinions on hiphop that you like to say, not giving a fuck?

Hip Hop before 91 is mostly repetitive and boring. There are some exceptions like Run DMC.

Ghostface Killah and DMX would make a great collaboration album

By the way, Ironman is a horrible album. Ghostface's career started when he released Supreme Clientele

Nas, Talib Kweli, Common and Mos Def are overrated as hell

Illmatic is a horrible album. Liquid Swords deserves Illmatic's position

My "unpopular" opinion of this thread after reading through much of it:

white people should stay out of hip-hop

white people shouldn't even listen to hip-hop, they should just spend their money on the cd, or the download, or the concert ticket, and then proceed to that pass off

white people can't stand to see or hear a Black person speak intelligently, hence this thread's "conscious rap" and "rappers droppin knowledge" backlash

white people still pretty much only see Black entertainment, particularly rappers, as a bunch of shucking-and-jiving minstrels. This is evident by the numerous posts in this thread calling hip-hop, and even it's fans, childish, narrow minded, stupid etc...

If hip-hop is dead, it's not because of faggots like lil wayne and the like, it's because faggots like y'all in this thread thinking Tupac is wack and Rakim is corny and other dumb shit like that.

While my fav Mobb Deep tracks are on The Infamous and Hell On Earth, I actually think that their best overall album is Murda Musik. Too many tracks I don't care for on the others. Only a few I don't like on Murda Musik.

Lupe Fiasco at his best is easily one of the most intelligent lyricists out there, and his selfless work for other people outside of hip hop only makes him even more indispensable for the current generation of hip hop fans.

Is alive because of those so alled hood ass blck folk who only care about the clubs and shit..whether or not you wanna believe it,its fact,if it wasn't for the high demographic of our white counterparts suppoerting underground movements..the whole genre woulda faded to the nonsense on radio..u really need to kill the color generalization and blame the ignorant...i totally disagree with that notion..thats just straight racist and stupid..music is universal..nothing makes me happier than to know hip hop can bring us all together,im sick of you cats who just use the culture to segregate..enoug of that already

How aren't Drake & Bone Thugs not the same in terms of rapping & singing?? I'm just talking about in terms of rapping and singing. Nothing else, not lifestyles, growing up...etc...just music wise, they both rap and sing. They both rhyme and add the singing element to it.
