I actually support Spurs (yes I know we were shit last night) and we have lots of English players (Robinson, Woodgate, King, Lennon, Jenas, Dawson, O'Hara, Huddlestone, Bent...) and I'm happy about it. And I agree Arsenal's complete lack of English players is a joke.
But in the end I wanna watch the best football I possibly can every week, and you get that by having a mix of the best players from around the world.
the paper said today that arsenal are a foreign team based in north london. they will suffer more if they get any english opponent to face in the quarter finals.

in this country we had like cable tv split up into two either foxtel (rupert murdoch) and optus vision ... i had optus and they used to play the match of the round from germany, holland, scotland and englands second division (before the days of the championship) and bayern were on almost every 2nd week so i saw alot of them. the year i started following them they won the UEFA cup so that's about 13 years ago, i was roughly 7 years old ... now they;ve combined and we get every EPL game, the match of the round from championship (my team in england is QPR) and we get on ESPN la liga ... we get champions league and one uefa cup game, we had spurs v psv yesterday morning
