People think RZA's involvement was minimal b/c of how Paul frames it:

That version of events ignores they had the bare bones of the beat already worked out before when RZA used it on the demo. But, if RZA brought Paul just the sample thinking it'd be a good sound for this project and not the full Enter... beat/song, then the whole narrative falls into place and all three are credited as they should be, even though Prince Paul is correct in that he did the heavy lifting on what became the final version of the song.

By now I think I have heard Paul tell this story like this on 3 different occasions. Though that is what happens when you keep telling the story how you remember, which only enforces it also in your head. But this remains an interesting thing though, since the base of Enter is indeed the same to Diary. It's not like the same sample and a different beat.
