I'd just rather play a new Elder Scrolls and then a new Fallout, simple as that

the fallout name has been around loooonnng before oblivion came about
it just made sense to use the oblivion engine (highly modified) to take fallout into the third dimension.
It's not like they decided to make a brand new apocalyptic game to capitalize off the oblivion engine.
i love all the fallouts tho - you cant beat that atmosphere.
i know that, hence calling it Fallout 3
and no it doesnt, i want them to make there own good damn engine lol and to me it would have made more sense to use the GoW engine, much more gritty then Oblivion

fallout never was a shooter though, GoW engine wouldn't have worked well to build an rpg out of - you'd have to add way too much that oblivion engine already had
might as well build it from the ground up like ya said
i haven't played too far into oblivion tho, only a few hours of it

but i feel you, i just dont like how they cross engines over, i would have prefered them make there own engine
and ya oblivion has a lot of shit to do but thats the best part, i still find and see new shit everytime i play and it blows my mind, after putting the amount of time i have, probably adds up to a couple years lol

Just had a few games on Uncharted 2. It's a brilliant game, def worth getting for MP alone
Waiting for NG Sigma 2 to download, hopefully it's as good as it was on the 360
