Denard Robinson is good, could be great, but Notre Dames defense has been an absolute joke for years now. It's really their achilles heel. They keep recruiting these bullshit QBs and RBs and WRs, but they never get any depth on the defensive line or in the defensive backfield.
we'll know what the kid can do once he starts big10 play.
Once he plays top teams in the Big Ten. He'll have good games against the weaker ones. But everyone is going to start scheming for him, loading the box, daring him to throw and exposing his weakness.
Regardless they have found their system QB so they'll be alot better than they were.
bottom line is that if bama and osu finish with one loss they should still get in ahead of Boise because they will have played a much tougher schedule.
Boise needs 2 big non conference games not just one because OSU and Bama played better opponents than boise on top of their much tougher conference schedules.
the fact jmu beat VT should really help to make sure boise st. doesn't go into the BCS over a one loss team in a bcs conference.
and does anybody else think the mountain west should get a bid instead of the big east or ACC?
not at all. None should get automatic bids.
yea i feel that way too but im sayin since we have it, i think personally mountain west has done better than big east in recent years
Boise needs to join the Big 12 or something
am not sure if Boise will even play in a bcs game this year even if they go undefeated, because the VT victory looks bad now even more so since they barley won and I think their will be lots of 1 lose bcs teams that will get the bid peole will say that's unfair, but i mean look at the teams bsu plays and the teams they play also what about tcu they might jump pass bsu
The problem with Miami and FSU is a few things. First off, teams from around the nation learned from them in the 80s and 90s and they're starting to pull out Florida talent in to other schools whereas in the 80s/90s you saw the best Florida players going straight to Miami and FSU. Second, FSU and Miami have no discipline. Randy Shannon will never be able to command his team. He's too much of a friend to these guys being that he's from the area and played on the team. He's too much of a "relater". Fisher will be able to instill some sort of command, but FSU won't get better until EJ Manuel takes over under center. He's a true playmaker and showed signs of it last season. Ponder is a bum. Miami will only get better as Jacory Harris gains more and more experience. The Gators are the Gators and they've been the King of Florida for a while now, but Tebow brought a lot to that team with his leadership and they will miss that later on.
The top teams this year are Alabama and Ohio State. Only Ohio State fucking up and Bama being in the SEC will stop these two from meeting for the Title. Oklahoma's no huddle could be dangerous if they keep it up, and Texas and Florida could crash the party. JMU beating Va Tech is going to hurt Boise big time.
I'm glad that they got reggie bush to return the heisman. fuckin' espn dick rides usc & usc alumni way too much. So many were sayin' "no don't take it away he earned it on the field". I remember watchin' the rose bowl game against Texas when USC was makin a little run and reggie bush dove towards the end zone, and they just kept replaying that highlight over and over. but what probably pissed me off the most was when they froze reggie bush in midair and they were all "I think that should be the new heisman pose".

fuck USC
Nah but Brian Rolle, yea he's a pimp...and Jamal Berry and Carlos Hyde will be too......i dont kno where Belle Glade is but my nigga Santonio hailed from there.
That's what I mean. All these dudes are going out of state[Hyde, Berry, Rolle] . But that's also a testement to just HOW MUCH talent there is down here. We can't get all of these boys.
And Belle Glade.. man.. people talk about how bad Miami, Tampa and Orlando are but Belle Glade is literally a 3rd world country. They chase rabbits out there to get their speed up and all there is to do like Santonio said is to sell drugs, get locked up or play football. Just go to google earth and look at that place man. Crazy.
People like to doubt Boise St, but all they do is win. The top rated teams are scared of them. Give them a chance in a big bowl game, and they will knock off one of the best teams like they did before.
lol @ Florida player getting charged with stalking.
Boise can not beat elite schools. I would still keep them in the top ten, but they couldn't fuck with ohio state or alabama. Virginia Tech was not even that good of a team honestly. They are overrated every year.
and yea Rainey sent that bitch a message sayin "Time To Die" hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
so WAC is suing Mountain West for what reason? for taking the "good" schools away from them?
and no one would question Boise State if they played even semi-decent out of conference schedule. They should have scheduled Washington or Michigan, you know someone that could've looked good if they beat them
Just cause you love Ohio St. doesn't mean they can't beat them. lol How can they be overrated when they are always undefeated and some people don't give them any props? lol They challenged any school to a game before, and nobody took them up on the offer. Weren't the Sooners one of the top ranked teams when they beat them?
yeah but Oklahoma was forced to play them. and didn't Boise decline an invite to the Pac 10?
the difference between bsu and lets say a team like Ohio state is the teams thy play while bsu plays a lot of cake walk teas Ohio state plays good to great teams yes I know any team can beat any team but I rather see two 1 lose teams who played the best teams that year play for the title rather than a team who played easy teams. the bcs and NCAA love this because people will say "see that's why we need a playoff" and it gets people talking about college football. everyone knows a playoff is never going to happen its all about money and too much would be lost
as long as they stay in the one of the worst conferences in football they shouldn't go to a championship game over any one loss bcs conference team. Boise St. wouldnt go undefeated in any other bcs conference, and if they don't go undefeated this year, it just proves that they arent that good. I don't think they'll beat oregon state
I had no idea exactly TWO undefeated seasons was 'always undefeated'
They don't get props because a tough road game for them is Hawaii. They also didn't challenge any school to a game, they demanded more money than anyone would pay them.
The fact is they have won a shitload of games against barely division one teams, and the one win against Oklahoma. Sorry if that isn't impressive to fans of teams that have to play more than one ranked team every season.
Since yo udidn't take the 30 seconds it would take to look up BSU's record past last year, I doubt you will, but go ahead and look at their record vs BCS conference teams.
simply the only way to solve this problem is to move to a bcs conference or go independent and play tough teams
enough of them lol
duke should be givien 40 points
People that didn't watch the Texas game will see the box score and see Gilbert threw three ints and think he played like shit. Two tipped passes, and a catchable ball that bounced off the receivers hands. They should come up with a new stat for ints like that. Our D will continue to hold shit down as the offense matures but they better hurry, OK and Neb are gonna be tough games.
I got a problem with alabama playing duke, if boise can't play shit teams then neither should any of the SEC or Big 12
Yea, what they also won't see is how Texas Tech got hosed by the official on that one drive where they flagged them twice for bullshit taunting penalties...especially the second one, that was total bullshit.
They were handed that touchdown and game basically.
So Gilbert can suck a cock cuz that game cost me a few bucks....CHEERS!
dude shut up. While Bama got lucky playing Penn State on a down transition year, they still at least played them.
The difference is that Boise will play one tough game all year and Alabama will have to go through a tough SEC schedule.
If Boise has to go through the SEC or Big Ten or Big 12, they would probably lose one or 2 conference games in each of those conferences. AT LEAST.
So i don't really want to hear Boise complain.
If Ohio State or Alabama played Boise's schedule every year, or any top program for that matter, they would win like 80 games in a row.
Lets get real.
It's all just opinion and speculation until the teams would actually play each other. Of course drunk rabid fans of the big name schools are going to talk negatively about lesser known ones.
Well until Boise State gets in a real conference, they will face this.
in the SEC they'd have to play Florida, Alabama, LSU, Arkansas.....
in the Big Ten Ohio State, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Penn State, Nebraska(next year)...
Big 12 Oklahoma, Texas, Nebraska
not to mention the lesser teams and the mid level teams that still have alot of talent and could upset Boise on any given week.
Sure Boise can coast into the BCS and win a surprise BCS bowl game, but looking at their team and the lack of depth, they could not go through on eof hte power conferences unscathed.
The fact is they wouldnt be in the BCS if it wasnt for their weak schedule.
hahahaha i hear dabout that
That's not what I intended to say, I don't even remember typing Boise, I don't even like the fuckers.
as for the big conferences, that's as deep as those conferences go, I don't see people aching to watch south carolina or baylor or iowa state (unless they're hosting said better schools). Just saying the SEC is not a "powerful" as people make it out to be.
I was only stating that bama shouldn't play duke, at least play texas a&m or kansas or usf, someone they can beat but no one would say shit when they won or who they'd played.
big game of the week is 1 Alabama at No. 10 Arkansas look for an upset
