WTHR's Bob Kravitz is reporting the NFL is investigating whether the New England illegally deflated footballs during the team's AFC Championship game against the Colts Sunday night.
Deflated footballs are easier to throw and catch, especially in the stormy conditions that threatened the area. Officials caught USC illegally deflating footballs in 2012, and fined the school.
Kravitz says officials took a ball out of play to weigh it, and that if the Patriots are found guilty of tampering with the balls they will lose draft picks—similar to the team's punishment for Spygate—in which they were found to be videotaping New York Jets' coaches' signals from the sideline. BelliCheat fined $500,000 for that incident, while the team lost its first-round draft pick.
More than anything, with two weeks until the Super Bowl and media attention significantly increased, the Cheatriots will be hoping this doesn't serve as a distraction before the most important game of the season.

i enjoyed it. it was really dramatic.
i predicted seahawks vs. broncos in the super bowl at the start at the season and i got one team right so i went with seahawks as the winners.
I picked Seattle to win and I was disappointed they lost but they'll probably be back next season.
