It's so sad that so many parents beat their kids when they act bad. I don't think beating kids when they misbehave is the answer to make them act right. Because when parents beat their kids, their kids grow up to hate them. That's why some kids run away from home because their parents treat them bad. Bill Cosby talks about he thinks it's wrong for parents to beat their kids in his Come On People book and i agree with him. It's a known fact that a lot of blacks beat their kids. Michael Jackson talked about how much he hated his dad Joe when he was a kid because Joe used to beat him and his brothers and sisters. That's why when Michael became older, he continued to hate his dad and Joe wonders why Michael didn't put him in his will LOL.

But I dont think beating has any actual predicable results. I mean look at 2 examples, Mike Tyson and Mike Jackson, both were beaten up as youngsters, both grew up to be exactly opposite people.
