Naw its a 4 star album.
-RZA and ODB solos only have a handful of songs I like per cd
-every Wu members debut solo album after 98 were pretty weak.
-Method Man needs to chill on the club beats I like a few of them but it just lost the Wu-Tang feel with too many.
-U-God is dope on Wu and other Wu members albums but his solos aren't that good, that is how I feel about a few others but I wont say since it will seem like I'm hating
-Wu-Tang corp should have a section with tourdates for each member, this is the official wu website so why not, I understand it'd be hard to keep up with all 8 though
doesnt matter. cuban linx was not ghostface's vision. it was raekwon's vision. ghostface was added because he complimented what raekwon was trying to do. same thing with ironman being ghost's vision.
^^^^real talk
I believe that RZA stopped his hard work ethic (i.e most of the new gen wu albums have few RZA produced tracks) and that is y wu has weakened.
^^^^Wu lost their grimeyness methodically since 93 imo
its evident in their raps...
listen to 36Chambers/Tical/Rtt36C/Cuban Linx/Liquid Swords/Ironman/Forever
it gets less grimey as it goes down(production wise)
but at the same time, peep their flow and everything
Indeed, I agree about the vision. Its the vision that was classic not the emcee performance. As an example we can take Liquid Swords that is probably just as good an album but no where near classic status quite simply cuz Gza's vision of an album is not one that everyone wanted to jump on. But Rae's vision is something that so many rappers tried to adopt that at times these imitating rappers seemed pitiful in their failures to imitate Rae (and off course Rza who had the skill to execute the album).Quote:

the thing i hate about wu-tang is the fans that bitch when its not their place to do so. your a fan - like it or dont but dont complain that they "lost it" or whatever. focus on the possatives in life - listen to shit you like just dont complain about something that doesnt fit your special needs as a LISTENER of music. and dont say they alienated you in a way because you like some but not all. your not represented by your favourite group in life you must think that if people you know, know you like wu hear a wack album they are gunna think your taste in music is shit. quit bitchin thats the first and final post im gunna submit to this thread.
some post out here are dumb like authors beein retard or something.......
i bet some of you state your opinion only to make some noise......
"wu post 93 is wack"
"iron flag is wack"
"rza is wack"
"cappa is wack"
just read what you write stupids...........
i dont say wutang is great, super or perfect in any way i just want to say:
STOP BITCHIN LADIES!
wu-tang will survive......................................
liquid swords is overated. Tical is better. Wu-Tang started and killed the remix in one track-Method Man remix.
This is a good point, its much easier to follow when all tourdates are in one place.Quote:
