Pretty good tune. Burke's flow was reminiscent of U-God on Heads Up (Keynote Speaker). The only real blemish is whoever went second had timing issues.

what a force and a farc, wow this makes me sad.. but the true believers know the real, do the knowledge! yeah there have been killarm joints witout the whole squad but when its clearly pieced together like this and missing members deliberately or cause they got no choice then it should not be a labeled as a killarm joint imo! plus the beat is sub par an album cut at best for a "comeback" joint.. i heard fourth aint cosign that either man this sad.. dom p reigning right now on his solo flow! fourth killin shit too as always.. aint no one else holdin down the crown like that! smh
I'll take what I can get from Killarmy and if the beat is any indication of the direction for the rest of the album then I'll check it for sure. I'm not sure what's going on behind the scenes but I don't like the idea of a non complete group. There is not much that can be done about Sin but Dom P NEEDS to be on the album.
I don't really know the history of Killarmy, I just liked their music.
Why would Dom P not want to be involved?
Of course ideally 4th would produce and Sin wouldn't have killed someone. Wheres his dumb girlfriend so we can get some insight? Maybe she can ask him what he thinks during her next prison visit?
^^ Dom P isn't involved because 9th is a snake. He doesn't want to do business with 9th.
If I remember correctly... around the time 9th dropped his Prince of New York album, Killarmy were all back together recording new material for a reunion album. 9th pulled a snake move and re-released his Prince of New York album and put the new Killarmy tracks on there as bonus tracks. Without telling any of the other members.
Similar thing happened a couple years ago when Killarmy got together again to try and record a new album. 9th put the 'One Shot' track up for sale on iTunes or Amazon without telling any one else about it. Dom P got pissed and that put a stop to that reunion.
Now Dom P wants nothing to do with 9th on a business level. When 9th announced this track on Twitter last week, Dom P tweeted that he should leave the Killarmy legacy alone and that it ain't Killarmy without Sin and Dom P.
Peace!
I noticed that tweet by Dom P too. It seems like when a reunion of sorts may happen, 9th does something to mess things up.
On a side note, Dom P's new album will be up for pre order from today.
Word??? Drop the link for the pre-order when its available please!
Just saw he put on Twitter that the new album is with mainly one producer. I got my fingers crossed that it's 4th Disciple.
Peace!
So Burke replaces Sin on the new lineup? Makes sense, because one emcee being a lot better than the rest is sort of traditional Killarmy.
As for Dom P vs 9th: it's always a shame - and an embarassment! - to see grown men squabble like that. I'm in no position to judge who is the snake and who isn't, and for that matter, I'm sure 99% of you guys ain't either! So whatever....
As for the track: I'm loving the beat, Burke and Kinetic. If there's really gonna be an album, and there's gonna be more of that, it's a wrap as far as I'm concerned, regardless of whether they call it Killarmy or something else.
And regarding this "don't tarnish the legacy" talk: first of all, everyone knows who and what the real Killarmy was. Second, what's left to tarnish after 15 years of stupidity?
Peace.
