Overrated bands?

who else sounds like the Doors? seems hard to remain that unique in a world full of imitators, jmo.

Nickleback sucks. "How you remind me" and "someday" have the exact same guitar riff. Listen to both at once and the only thing different is the words.

Green Day used to be alright but now they suck. And still, people hype them up like crazy.

Aerosmith definitely, their music is so bland.

you might be right unseen, but that alone doesn't exclude them from being over rated.
i'm not saying i dislike any of them. i'm just saying that their hype outweighs their talent.

I'd have to disagree on Radiohead being overrated. They have put out really nice albums, such as The Bends. Also, they sell a lot of records, without having to do much promotion at all. Unlike a lot of other groups.

I typed up a thorough post yesterday as I was leaving but there were obviously techinical difficulties and it didnt post....u2 and coldplay were on that list though.

I pretty much agree with almost all bands posted except of course The Beatles...yall might be going to hell for putting them there...lol.
