The guy's name was spelled wrong, but I'd have to disagree with the Scott Peterson case not being high profle. That's a very well known murder case, one of the most high profile cases in recent years. It was in the news all the time. A bunch of movies made about it.Quote:

Well the Scott Peterson case wasn't just on TV, it was in the newspapers, and all over the place. It was definitely more well known than the Vick story. One of the biggest murder stories since OJ, if not the biggest.

As much as it sucks it just proves we are just animals. It is survival of the fittest in this sense. Native Americans didnt have the ability to defend themselves in a suitable manor and they were almost exterminated. Dont even try and say something like Id wanted that to happen or anything like that, I think it is sick what happend to the Native Americans, but since the begining of man, there has been fighting and warring. The stronger people with the bigger stick won back thousands, even millions of years ago. They got the woman to mate with, they got the food to live on, ect. Today its the people with the biggest most amount of guns and nukes. As much as I would love the world to be a socialist paradise, thats not humans. We are animals.

Europeans had the advantage of writing, use of metals, use of horses, and the most important...germ warfair (it wasnt used as dirty bombs and such like you would think today, but just the contact between europeans and NA's passed diseases that the NA just didnt have natural immunites to that europeans built up (ex. of evolution actually) through thousands of years with close contact with the domesticated animals that NA didnt have contact with.
In a nuttshell those are the reasons europeans conquered the NA. But my main point was the waring between NA tribes before the europeans even got there.

Put the puzzle pieces together right. When I first heard of it I thought that she was a victim. Slow down and read what I said, think about it, then reply. All of this is important but there are bigger things that are going on. I check out these things like Vick and what not but I know I have bigger fish to fry. Vick's not my fight and ol' girl isn't my fight, so I keeps it moving until I get tangled temporarily in dialog w/folks like ya'll (which I don't mind when I have time to burn).
