just being hypothetical.
I understand.
But what I'm saying is that it isn't easy for anyone to start a secret organization and "take over the world".
In fact, I am going to say that it is damn near impossible.
Fuck alex jones, for all we know this guys a cia agent hired to make people even more confused about everything than they already might be, dont follow a man, make ur own interpretations, yea he probably is as bad as bill or reilly and olberman and all them actors being portrayed as fair news anchors.
Agreed.
New World Order was a term that stems from the end of World War I, used by Woodrow Wilson.
It was meant as a means to spread democracy to the defeated nations of Europe in particular and to allow autonomy, and thus the people would choose democracy and idealistically, that would be the case.
Wilson turned out to be too idealistic, as it did not take nor did his 14 points.
I find it funny how New World Order has become synonomous with this evil secret takeover and that the 'man' will be watching your every move.
Thats ridiculous on so many levels. And in practice, it obviously does not work when you see the shortcoming of Wilsons plan, and recently Bush, Jr.s.
The problem with conspiracy's is that they usually gloss over major details and make outrageous presumtions. Furthermore, the reason they remain conspiracy's is because they lack any evidence to prove they are NOT conspiracy's.
Only an idiot would blindly deny something without knowing the absolute truth. But at the same time only an idiot would blindly accept something as fact without proof.
this is a good post, but its not just the conspiracy theorists who are the scared ones, because the average person is being bred to be a fearful person with all the overwhelming coverage of terrorism, and crime on the airwaves.
The media are the people who made people scared of jews, blacks, communists etc. these guys fuel every fire, and try to make you see things from their point of view, an example of this, related to my south american overthrowing of governments example, is when hugo chavez was being overthrown and his supporters were shown on a bridge shooting down to the supposedly people filled streets below, while at a different angle the same scene was shown with the streets below being totally empty, they tried to paint hugo chavez as a horrible president, and his supporters as extremists, while chavez was supporting the 80 percent of the population which are the poorer people rather than the 20 percent of the rich people, the 20 percent despised him causing the US to intervene and try to please the major businesses and corporations.
I agree to an extent. There are scared and, more often, ignorant people on all sides of the spectrum.
I wouldn't respect anyone who blindly trusted every word the government spoke or believed everything he saw on the news.
But the media, in as of itself, is not evil, although people can manipulate the media FOR evil. It is not good either. It essentially exists only to get people to view the different outlet's particular medium.
The media simply wants stories that will attract viewership. If people didn't want to watch sensationalistic stories, media would not show them.
As for Chavez, he is a perfect example of someone manipulating the media to further his own agenda. While I can say that I, personally don't find him to be a "good" guy or agree with his policies, that does not make him "evil".
At least our country has a sensational media that attempts to expose everything our government does.
While it may TRY to cover things up, the very nature of our country allows us to truly have the most transparent government in the history of the world.
are u saying that chavez manipulated the media, or someone did to change peoples viewpoints on him? Chavez actually went on the governmetn channel i think it was and took phone calls from needy citizens, which i think is a reallly really cool thing to do especially if ur in that position of power.
I love how people are so quick to glorify any man who is a antagonist of the U.S. and will make every excuse in the book for them.
Its like they have these strict guidelines for the United States govt.,but they cover their eyes when it comes to other more obviously corrupt nations.
They STILL do that shit with Castro.
YOu can be critical of governments all you want, thats fine, but be fucking consistent. It makes you look like you have an agenda.
BUt than again, most of the time, these people do.
Dan, we don't often agree on things (which I'm fine with) but usually you have very sound reasoning. I gotta say this post is a diversion from that.
You'd have to know what you don't know to truly know just how transparent our government really is. (I realize that's an impossibility)
But then you'd have to acknowledge that you can put the information out there as long as no one actually finds it. They'll burry it underneath a mountain of sensationalistic bullshit so deep that the majority of people will just call you a conspiracy nut by the time you actually find it. ;)
It's amusing, because once again, i was talking about things of this nature with my brother, and he brought up that Gordon Brown had said 'New World Order' in a recent speech and that it would be amusing to see the inevitable reaction of conspiracy theorists.
As Nicky said, it is pretty weird to see people becoming excited every time a nation's leader uses such a phrase.
Conspiracy theorists merely tap into the fact that politicians will recycle phrases like that, and extrapolate it out to have some greater, ominous meaning. It's so transparent, and basically outlines why anyone going along with that shit is just gullible in essence.
Conspiracy theories target the uneducated and gullible portion of society. I've read a lot of the 'literature' from sites such a Prison Planet, and on the surface it is extremely persuasive and apparently well supported by evidence. But you merely have to scratched beneath the surface to begin to realise the ridiculousness of the claims and the clear motives behind what is being communicated.
Nicky and Dan make good points.
I also acknowledge DirtMcGirt's point about Jones not having the same level of exposure.
However, at least he is bound by some journalistic boundaries, albeit very broad ones.
I dont fuckin get how so many people can see the fuckin towers fall at a second slower than freefall speed and not think that controled demolition was used. Pancakeing floors, give me a fuckin break that shits cartoon physics. Like when a cartoon character is inside a building and they fall through a floor than they hit the next floor stop then go through that floor and so on and so on. Until they reach the bottom of the building and end up in the damn ground. Real life dont work like that, energy will be used and depleted with every floor that is hit, slowing the object down with every impact. So how are the towers falling at near free fall speed and not being slowed by each consecutive floor? Either the buildings were diesigned to collapse like that or demolition charges and shit like nano-thermite was used. Which by the way nano-thermite residue has been found in the dust from the collapses. plus there is building 7 no planes hit it, all it had was small fires, it falls at like 5 something that afternoon. The official explanation is just that fire caused it, they dont know how it just did. All the proof anyone should need is right in front of your face.
I dont know how to inbed video but here is a link to a vid from a Danish tv show interviewing a scientist about the nano-thermite. http://www.infowars.com/danish-scien...11-not-planes/
Its pretty much just the USA that dont get this info other countries actually have open dialogue about the bullshit 9-11 conspiracy theory.
