Why do Americans like the British accent? I can't answer that since I already consider myself a touch of an Anglophile (its that whole Victorian Romantic thing I've been in the closet about (not the gay closet, the man with feelings closet)) Realistically I think that steam punk clothing would be dope.

Me, I find the lower class British accent to be awesome. I hate the upper crust gentlemanly talk but I love the brumie (did i get the spelling right on that lace?) and cockney accents. I have a fat boner for soccer hooliganism. Its part of my mild anarchist tilt.

maybe its because Americans dont wanna be embroiled in conversations involving Rugby, Cricket, 1966 and Cheryl Cole. so they approach the Englishman with fear.

Yeah I hate my ancestry though. On one side I'm a conglomeration of Western Europeans and on the other side I have a conglomeration of Eastern Europeans. Which I summarize as 1/4 Irish, 1/4 English, 1/2 Russian even though that really means Irish, Scotch, Welsh, England (Summarize British) French, Swiss, Russian, German, Romanian, and probably many others.

On the plus side I'm not French Canadian, my French blood is Southern Aristocracy French (Namely Beauregard and my English Blood are Virginian Lees)
