I was having a discussion about this yesterday and I was saying even if the steel was padded, I think the collision wit the beam would still be fatal. He was going about 90 mph. If one is going that speed and then hits something which causes them to go to 0mph in less than a second, the brain is gonna impact with the skull and cause bruising and hemorrhaging. It would be downhill from there.

thats why i said try way too hard. the keyword is way, of course there are parents who force their kids to play sports, its healthy and most kids needs a little push in order to start with something. but the goal isnt for them to become professional athletes.
