damn, y'all crybaby faggits are like seasoned vets at fuckin up what ppl are sayin
I dunno what OP's thinkin, he's a different person than me and I can't speak for him, but if any of the crying on this last page has anything to do with my posts on the first page, let me clarify...
all I was tryin to say is that it's not suprising ppl shoot at Drake, especially with his fake southern accent and flow dickridery, not to mention his background. if you think the definition of hiphop is 'a style of music' and that's it, then it's whatever, but some ppl think it means more than just a style of music, it means a whole lifestyle, and if you don't live it then you ain't hiphop.
also keep in mind, telling somebody that they're wrong when they say something is or isn't hiphop is no better than saying it to begin with, by the same logic. if you're really dedicated to the whole 'matter of opinion' premise, then quit actin like you're offended when somebody pulls the 'he ain't hiphop' line. I'm cool when ppl say Waka Flocka ain't hiphop and I like dude's music.
nobody said you had to be street to be anything either, but if you took the streets out of hiphop, it would suck, flat out. it wouldn't even exist actually, and the less hiphop has to do with the street, the more it will suck, imo. disagree if you want, but that's how I feel. if you leave the door wide open, anybody can get in. Nicki Minaj wants there to be an openly gay male rapper that gets shine, there probably will be one day, and that's where the 'you don't have to be street to be hiphop' mentality will eventually lead.
of course Dusk and Pandemic would probably download the homo rapper's records and play it them secret
