^ Weirdly I watched Brazil last night. I'm watching through Python related movies and thats definitely one of the best movies that came out of that group barring actual Python movies. Gilliam movies are all pretty much mindfuck movies although a lot of them are not fantastic since he puts more of an emphasis on themes and ideas than characters and stories. Brazil all comes together though, visually its a stunningly realized world and Lowrys bewilderment at all of it is great.
Marathon man

my reaction at this movie called incendies.........wtf
http://replygif.net/i/1408.gif
just finished this movie called Gummo....
Never seen the remake but the original was fucking excellent. I heard the remake is good as well which is unusual for a remake but its Michael Heneke as well.
Incedies was fucking excellent.
A lot of the ones I'd mention have been mentioned.
Have you seen Dogtooth?
Basically anything by Luis Bunuel or Alejandro Jodorowsky. Or something by Andrzej Zulawski like Possession or The Third Part Of The Night or the completely bizarre and half finished On The Silver Globe.
In Her Skin the French movie wasnt really a mind fuck but I found it unsettling.
The 1970's Japanese movie called Hausu is pretty crazy too.
last night i watched "happiness"..... cue in weebay

Ok, i usually don't go in dept about these films but this movie genuinely disturbed me and made me uneasy. its not an over the top deranged mindfuck movie, i think thats the element that really got me, its pretty much a real life setting turned dark, exploring sex, loneliness and DEPRAVITY was so well done in this flick man, the casting was almost too perfect. the pathetic characters were REALLY PATHETIC and the creepy dudes were Believably creepy. This is one of those movies that will stick with me for a bit
I clearly underestimated how fucked up gone girl was going to be, turned out to be crazy
MAN BITES DOG......OH MAN

haha, some great fucked up films mentioned on this page, Dogtooth, Funny Games, Synecdoche New York are some of my favourite films. I never saw the remake of Funny Games, but apparently it was shot for shot.
Michael Haneke's 'The Piano Teacher' is another favourite of mine. Isabelle Hupert is a great actress and it's an amazing film. Best to not read anything about it before seeing it, because the way the narrative unfolds in conjunction with the cinematography and subject matter is masterful.
Time of The Wolf, another Haneke/Hupert film is pretty great also, hard to watch in parts though...
I haven't watched any out there films for a while, this thread is inspiring me... thanks.
i should also be thanking you man, some of your suggestions were exactly what i needed to watch, ive yet to see dogtooth and the piano teacher but yea, time of the wolf is definitely one of those humanity is its own worst enemy movies i enjoyed.... my marathon continues next weekend
keep em coming yo:b
I went through a period of watching a lot of these but cant remember most of them now. A lot were random European movies like the third part of the night or Possession. I'll have to look around and see.
While your watching Dogtooth watch the lobster after if you havent seen it already. Same director.
i thought pans labyrinth was a childrens movie...boy was i wrong, that villain dude is crazy
Eyo Shifter, it looks like a playa might have a gb or 2 to spare this month. I'm a massive fan of David Lynch's mind fuck films. What would you say are the top 5 movies mentioned in this thread that I most need to see?
Also, what's a good torrent site for movies now that kickass is no more?

Possesion (1981)
It's not really a horror movie, more a psychological drama.
enter the void is good (kinda longggggg thoooo)
been playin on gettin trashed n watchin it
for some time now
^thanks heaps fam, I'll def try to start working on that list.
To me, it kinda was, that revelation was unexpected , I didn't see that coming, it wrecked my brain like l
Yeah lol my jaw was on the floor
Watched Mr. Nobody last night. Pretty good movie. Watched Upstream Color afterwards. That is a pretty weird movie.
Need to find some more messed up Asian movies. Nobody does messed up weird shit like Koreans or Japanese. Then Eastern Europeans.
Enter the void isn't for people who want fast paced nindfuckery, however the concept is some deep shit if you actually sat down to let it sink in
Oldboy is amazing. Completely fucked up, but amazing nonetheless.
Steer clear of the 2013 remake though.
Visitor Q is awesome
"Two Sisters" is a great movie..
"Old Boy" is amazing but so is the semi-sequel "Lady of Venegance".. that same director also made an american movie called "Stoker" which is a fantastic flick imo.
"Cosmopolis" is one of the most underrated movies of this decade.. classic Cronenberg
i'm glad to see mentions of "Synecdoche, New York" - i love that movie. might be the best Philip Seymour Hofman performance and Charlie Kaufman showed he can direct a movie as well as write - it's just gonna be THAT weird LOL.
if you like "Synecdoche...." be sure to check out his new movie "Anomalisa" also.. it is animated but very thought provoking and well made
last recommendation for now is another Asian one - it has three short horror/mindfuck stories.. Takashii Mike, Park Chan-Wok ("Old Boy" director) and another guy.. its called "Three... Extremes"
OH and FOR FUCK SAKE - if y'all like weird but compelling mind fuck movies BE SURE to watch "POSSESSION" (1981) - that shit would not leave my heads for WEEKS after.. excellent stuff
MPD Psycho too
Man behind the sun<<< u gotta see this shit
Perpermint candy< really odd Korean movie
Definitely have to add Nobuhiko Obayashi's Hausu (1977) to the list- now that's a trip! Asian cinema is so out there when it comes to mindfuck films..
Also some I didn't yet catch in this thread:
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind & Being John Malkovich (Everything basically written by Charlie Kaufman has good mindfuck potential)
HOLY MOTORS
After Hours ( A very underrated Scorsese film)
Angel Heart ( Mickey Rourke in his prime, De Niro owns!)
