Agreed I heard zero garbage, no one is paaying me either hahaha What other tracks are we not supposed to like? I didnt get the memo haha
even if both of those songs were complete garbage, that's 2 songs out of 41 songs...oh man, the album can't possibly be considered a classic because less than 5% of it isn't up to par derp derherp
i don't consider it classic yet; i'm reserving judgment, but i'm also not going to shit on anyone else's enthusiasm
Please send me link :)
sure, have fun with that
i'll start you off:
they look like i glued caterpillars to my face
i look like a gay but ungroomed drake who fell off
when i go on the internet, eyebrows
and so it goes
could he have pared this down to about 15 tracks of pure, undiluted killer? sure...but the beauty of having so many tracks is that you can choose your own adventure of bangers or just enjoy this smorgasbord of esoteric goodness
i got it for free and it goes well with weed and chivas, so i'm not going to complain
lol... i was so hyped after reading all this bullshit. well first disc is finished, starting second one, good album, but boring as a fuck. as all other KP albums. no chance i will listen it ALL again. wtf 40 tracks... almost fell asleep.
start the hate now.
Location: Lithuania
yeah, we here cant get that boring shit about cosmos, angels, planets, nefelims, portals in space and other crap.
when you take away the songs you don't like, how many are left? over 20? over 30? Most hiphop albums now are like 16 tracks at the most, with skits and bullshit, so anything more than that is basically a bonus.
what if the album had just been disc 1, how would you feel about it? what if disc 2 had been labelled "bonus mixtape" or something?
i could see if it was 41 tracks with only 3 bangers, but you're basically complaining that you don't like very item of food at a buffet even though you ate 2 plates of food. i know this is an analogy you'll understand.
there are 5 piano tracks in a row...oh man boohoo
sgt peppers is trash because every track has a guitar on it, so all of the songs sound the same
Ah yes, I totally get it now. Thank you for enlightening me. I'm not dissing the album as a whole. You're absolutely right, there are 30 or so bangers on there. Some of those are classics. But for an album to be classic as a whole, there needs to be cohesion throughout the entire album, which is why I don't think Wu-Tang Forever is a classic either. (It's damn near as close as a double album can be) The problem I noticed right away with this disc, and it started back with his press clippings last year where he "wasn't sure if it would be a double disc or not" is a lack of direction. What I get from this album, is a half and half blend of spacey hipster shit, (ironically Hollow loves it) and a mafioso album similar to Only Built for Cuban Linx... Now, tell me if I'm nuts in that assertion. Tell me you don't hear a change in theme at the beginning of disc 2.
what you're calling a flaw may have been intentional
and i think it's safe to say RZA's still go it if "Fire Stone" is any indication, ghostface would've been awesome on that
I don't think it was intentional at all. I think he took two different themed albums, and smashed them together, probably because some fan blog requested it.
anyone got a copy without killah priest on it
i need that shit, these beats is fucking disgusting
So when is this gonna be on amazon?

LMFAO@ PRIESTS CHICK VOICE ON "CURRENTS OF EVENTS"
Will this be available on iTunes or Amazon though? Or only Priest's website?
LOL Who voted wack? Definitely trolling
i wanna eventually review this shit but i still havent listened to every track all the way through yet. So far the opening, shadow landz, new reality, street thesis, ein sof, developing story, brilliantaire, the park, devotion of the saints, visionz, the elders gave us aura, energy work, L Thianine, Tower, think priest, fire stone, how i write, lotus flower and nazreth are all in my constant music rotation (driving, smoking, chillin)...Must say that this bitch i fuck wit last night told me that this was the worst shit she ever heard in her life....and her favorite rapper is 2chainz and future smh
ok i gotta add wubian nation to my list of faves....Rae went hard and seemed to come wit more energy than he has been comin wit lately, but than again its no tellin how long priest had that verse
one of the greatest double albums ever made
killah priest is the deepest rapper to ever do it
the most underrated emcee of all time dropped another classic
while beautifulrock tries to lock down a rating for the album and takes decimal points off tracks for incredibly nerdy reasons... i just bang the LP and reflect on its classic nature

KILLAH PRIEST
gotdamn i need to hear this shit
The thing is I don't know what I'm going to vote. I can't after listening to it for 1 time. I need like 4 spins for a regular album, but an album with 41 tracks? I already forgot some of the shit I listened to, that doesn't mean it's bad at all, but there's so much material on here it needs more time and focus.
This the first Wu double CD since forever?
Killah Priest has just delivered an amazing new album! I've listened to it straight through twice and I honestly must say I'm very impressed. I can't micro manage each track because I really believe that this a real album and each song must be played in the context of Priest's overall theme. Which in my opinion is he's uniquely spiritual view of himself, the streets, Hiphop, and the universe.
It's going to take some time to decipher all of these lyrics. It's natural to like some more than others and even dislike a few. The album has over 40 songs! But Priest sounds incredible and his lyrics are intensely deep and profound... If this doesn't satisfy his fans and long time supports, I really don't know what will. This is a very powerful album... Real lyricism is NOT dead!!!
Please buy and support this project. With all the straight garage out there, Killah Priest has given us some serious jewels to think about...
At this point I would give it a 4 1/2 out of 5. THIS IS A MUST HAVE!!!!
Tonite we ride!!!! Pray we don't die!!!!!!!! Tonite we fly!!!!!!! Conan throwing lighting bolts at your fam! Lol
