when you take away the songs you don't like, how many are left? over 20? over 30? Most hiphop albums now are like 16 tracks at the most, with skits and bullshit, so anything more than that is basically a bonus.

Ah yes, I totally get it now. Thank you for enlightening me. I'm not dissing the album as a whole. You're absolutely right, there are 30 or so bangers on there. Some of those are classics. But for an album to be classic as a whole, there needs to be cohesion throughout the entire album, which is why I don't think Wu-Tang Forever is a classic either. (It's damn near as close as a double album can be) The problem I noticed right away with this disc, and it started back with his press clippings last year where he "wasn't sure if it would be a double disc or not" is a lack of direction. What I get from this album, is a half and half blend of spacey hipster shit, (ironically Hollow loves it) and a mafioso album similar to Only Built for Cuban Linx... Now, tell me if I'm nuts in that assertion. Tell me you don't hear a change in theme at the beginning of disc 2.

Killah Priest has just delivered an amazing new album! I've listened to it straight through twice and I honestly must say I'm very impressed. I can't micro manage each track because I really believe that this a real album and each song must be played in the context of Priest's overall theme. It's going to take some time to decipher all of these lyrics. It's natural to like some more than others and even dislike a few. The album has over 40 songs!
