Listening to 9th Prince Granddaddy Flow, this album was fire. Beats fire, 9th Prince in his prime flow perfected, guest spots are perfect. You can tell he had his hands in the beat selection for most of the Killarmy albums. Best Killarmy solo followed by War Poetry.
@ Lee Towers, I completely forgot rza said that there was going to be a volume 2 & 3.
^^me too!
listening to claaa7's best of Vatican compilation this morning http://claaa7.blogspot.be/2011/01/ra...can-vol-1.html
4K-D8PKtx904K-D8PKtx90that song with U-GOD is the shit! "The World According to RZA" had some seriously dope beats.. from what i understand it was mostly produced / recorded around the same time as 'Iron Flag'..
this one is a rather unknown track that was deleted from the album by a rapper called Brainpower.. from what i heard it's because RZA caught some serious backflack for working with this guy who from what i heard doesn't have much respect from real hip hop heads. might be wrong though but i'm pretty sure that's what i heard when i first came across this.
^^thanks!
I'm familiar with Brainpower, he had an ENORMOUS hit in Dutch in Holland and Belgium a few years ago (number one record)
(hit song kicks in at 00:30)
However, I was not familiar with the track for W.A.R. . Idk what reputation Brainpower has among hiphop heads in Holland
he was featured on an offical remix of this Nas track a few years ago too. (his verse is in Dutch)
btw the track you posted was followed by this one on YT, which I was unfamiliar with as well
