This is so fucked up.
P's last album was the first of a triple set. I wonder how far he got recording for the second album and whether we are going to see an album or EP release. P released A LOT of albums and mixtapes during his career so he must have recorded at a steady pace. I think there are at least SOME recent songs left in the vault for now.
Wouldn't surprise me at all, he's always been a turd, hopefully somebody in QB slaps that hoe in the face for it.
H.N.I.C. dropped seventeen years ago today.
I was listening pee was a great lyricist
Rest In Peace to the late, great Infamous one Prodigy one year later.

New Mobb Deep LP being released before the end of the year.
Havoc and Alc got alot of shit in the vault
Alchemist said in a podcast I see that he has loads of unreleased Mobb Deep and Proidgy solo material.

RIP. His death is still suspect
"Every day of my life since 11-02-74" Happy Birthday Prodigy in the next life
How come there's still no posthumous album or even mixtape?
anybody know how far P was into the recording of parts 2 and 3 of his final set of solo albums?
still no mobb album out yet either
it's a real shame
rest up eazy up there Prodigy, hiphop will not forget you
So apparently Mobb Deep will perform in the Netherlands.

Don't know what that's about.

Some tunes I hadn't heard before, the track with Charli Baltimore is dope.
Mashup I made for those who haven't heard it:

One of the best ever! I always preferred Hell On Earth over The Infamous though. Maybe because I heard Hell On Earth first.
I'm currently listening to the audiobook version of Prodigy's book. I read it years ago, but just got the audiobook, read by P himself.
Peace!
that book is crazy haha. I guess P kept Excel spreadsheets of who he had gotten into fist fights with. I love that book. the best part to me was the first part where he discussed his childhood. I'll also never forget how Barz N Hookz robbed Havoc's place, the guy who was putting them on. talking about being shortsighted lol
Classic book.
The book is dope as hell. It was years ago when I first read it so I forgot a lot of the stories. I've been listening to the audiobook when I'm out running for the last week or so. I'm just getting to the point where they're recording The Infamous.
Love the story about when they were up in Def Jam offices and Havoc accidentally shot a dude in there, they all ran out and barged Run DMC out of the way. Def Jam hired security guards after that incident! Haha.
P and them were really wild!
Peace!
April 27 live mixtape by J. Period : Mobb Deep & Nas
I like the live mixtape concept. new phenomenon to me, this is the third one I've listened to
Rest In Peace to Prodigy three years later.
I’ve just seen that Prodigy released a follow up to My Infamous Life which covers the period after he got out of prison.
I never knew about this. It’s called The State vs. Albert “Prodigy” Johnson. I’ve searched online but can’t seem to find a copy anywhere.
Has anyone read it? And anyone know where I can get a copy?
Peace!
Never heard of it either. I still need to check out his prison cookbook.
It was new to me too. So I just did a quick google search and it seems that it is out as a paperback and an audio book, but both versions are currently unavailable. it must be rare (limited release?) because one Dutch online shopping site I visited had the (unavailable) audio CD set at over $90
