Iron Flag is good album undoubtedly, but previous albums (Enter the Wu-Tang, Wu-Tang Forever, The W) are the best
not the best,but its still banging,some good stuff on it but nowere near the class of wu tang 4ever
3 weak tracks, the rest are good to great to classic. Great album.

Overall its a 7/10.. listenable but not memorable and when I wanna hear some wu I dont bother with this one here. Two of the tracks wouldve been great on a Bob digi album (Dashing and Chrome Wheels). Some corny ass singing brought down two tracks. Flava Flav fillin in for ODB wasnt cutting it on Soul Power and it was too long.

One of These Days, Chrome Wheels, and Dashing were the weak tracks to me. Ton of hate for Soul Power which I can't see because the only thing that's weak about it is Flavor Flav. The beat is hot, and Rae, MK, Ghost, and especially Ugod rip it.

overall 9/10 Raekwon shines the most on this for me; Rza´s production is more straight forward than on The W. It isnt the best Wu album for me; but it definately has a great feel to it and I think it is underapreciated by most hiphop heads. The Source only gave it 3.5 mics; I think its a 4.5

its been about 6 years since iron flag dropped.. i dont know how much longer i can ""let it marinate"" .. but i feel the exact same way i do now compared to when i first heard it.. it was not ill.. maybe if it was a solo project or a mixtape compilation i could understand it.. i like a couple of tracks dont get me wrong.. but as an OFFICIAL WU-TANG CLAN ALBUM... NAH.. its a slap in the face.. especially coming straight behind the W... ((the W was a dope album that followed an updated WU formula))...but not this album.. it was an evolution alright.. but not a good one..
Wu's ol' formula could never get old.. cause they havent used it since 1998.. they hardly use it now.. so dont listen to RZA..he dont even know what he be sayin half the time.. i love him.. but thats fuckin bologna!!
