I had a friend move down there to live with his dad like 2 years ago and he got shipped off to Houston when the flood hit. He's helpin' rebuild ish now, said theres gonna be work for like the next decade. Are some parts of the city still under water? CNN kinda just stopped all of a sudden with the Katrina ish, like there was more important shit to cover. I live in Canada mind you, so I don't keep up on it much....
No son nobody under water. Yeah theres gonna be alot of work 4 a long time. Some areas are still aint livable but most parts are. I actually moved back into my house. I was amazed at all of the people that came back (and all the violence). The state recently had to send in the National Gaurds to take control of the city.Its gettin bad homey
That sucks to hear man. You'd think a tragedy like that would bring the city together, instead its caused people to vandalize, steal and whatever else. Hopefully the city overcomes it though, I'd love to visit Mardi Gras sometime in the next few years, I'm only 17 now....
