The Tigers are based around their offense. They will come around when it warms up, play good baseball, but once the weather gets worse in the playoffs if they make it, the bats will cool down. This is why good pitching beats good hitting....the Tigers need to get some better pitching.
If Bruney keeps his command up all year (you know he'll keep the heat up), our bullpen can be awesome. When and if Joba joins this staff in midseason, I think Moose gets the nod for the penn and that will make us even stronger in the middle believe it or not. Joba/Mo dominant though in their roles again tonight. Sweet victory, Yanks look sharp when Moose ain't starting. Bats are a lil sluggish, but once A-Rod, Jeter and Cano get going, we should be well oiled.
Liked the double bunts by Giradi after the first bunt base hit before Bobby knocked in the go-ahead run, I dunno if Joe (T.) does that last year.
