not me....sadly...eloels.
^^i'm getting it in trades, i got the road to war of kings, and the 2 guardians of the galaxy hardcovers, as well as the rise and fall of shiar empire and the annihilation stuff...looking forward to how it plays out. i'm a fan of all the characters involved so...
jeph loeb is the soulja boy of comics, his shit sucks so hard it's vile, yet it always sells.
yeah, i'm only following the main title and the guardians stuff.
and i'm more of a street level hero guy (daredevil, punisher, luke cage, iron fist).
but i gotta tell ya. war of kings is really good.
im done with New Mutants...its going nowhere.
jeph loeb needs to stop already
and war of kings is excellent...........
I really like the difference that the Utlimate U provided but them killing all these people off is really upsetting me.....worried about the reboot.....I think they should have left it alone
lol this is funny, and kinda sad. I don't have a lot of his stuff, and I haven't heard a lot of solja boys stuff neither, but I guess I don't need to, to understand what you mean by this and what you said before about playing with toys and all that.
I think im less upset with what's going on in UU than I am with what's been going on in the regular marvel continuity
^^^i also don't like the overall creative direction in marvel right now, but they still publish some good stuff, and their ability to reprint material in paperback and hardcover is unmatched right now.
does anybody know anything about the new Deadpool series "Merc With A Mouth"?
^^^he's teamed up with the head of a zombie deadpool for the marvel zombies universe, and it's been written by one of the writers that've clusterfucked MAX punisher to a boring oblivion since garth ennis left. it could be good, the current deadpool series is pretty cool but i wish a writer with weirder sensibilities than daniel way was writing it; the joe kelly issues of the 90s deadpool series are the best that character's ever been imo.
deadpool is a character that needs a max title.
i would also say taskmaster max would be cool. or bringing back alias now that cage and jones have a baby.
what marvel characters would y'all like to see get max titles?
taskmaster is an excellent idea, a continuation of the udon taskmaster would be awesome as well
alias would be cool, or just make it a luke cage book
max wolverine although it'll never happen
moon knight max, even though the current one is close to that or so i've heard
dr strange (mike carey (x-men, lucifer, the unwritten, ultimate ff") wants to do it, pair him with pablo raimondi or the guy who did x-men noir, or better yet tomm coker or bill sienkiewicz)
nick fury or just a SHIELD max
blade
^ all great ideas. i'm down for anything bill sienkiewicz is involved in. (personal favorite)
blades done the max thing before, but that character just cant seem to hold his own title for long.
i really do think marvel should try beefing up the max line. so many good storytelling opportunities.
^^^they just seem scared of taking established characters down this route, except for the punisher.
dr strange seems like such an obvious choice to me, to appeal to fans who read vertigo and image stuff, and fans of the dark tower stuff. it's not like he's been overutilized right now
daredevil seems so obvious to me as well, the book's almost there anyway
on a similar note i'd kill for a 'mature readers' batman book also.
