No, there aren't special circumstances when cheating is justified.

Seeing as we don't live in an ideal world, the moral high road is rarely travelled these days.

I watched my mom destroy someone else's marriage when I was young, that scarred me.

She was manipulated by a moster, but I still blame both parties.

And yes, there was a child involved.

Luckily, I distanced myself from the events and people from my dyfunctional childhood and attempted to make the few serious relationships I've been in work as best I could.

I'm not completely innocent myself, I've been the other guy a girl was running around on her man with.

Never when I was involved with someone and never with a girl who was still with her child's father, but I'm just rationalizing my own bullshit behavior.

When I'm with someone, I find it to be the ultimate sign of disrespect to be unfaithful if there's been time and effort put in.

Hypocritcal, sure, we're all hypocrites to an extent.

Usually the reason I've ended up with women in relationships is because I do have a bit of the Captain in me.

Not to the extent where I'll shit on another dude's existence to make myself look good, but I am a sucker for a sob story and some big, sad eyes.

because it's natural to want to know why. they need to make sense of it in order to close that chapter.

so people who have been cheated on don't deserve any answers? because the answer is because they desired others and they couldn't help themselves? this applies to men and women.

you can only cheat on someone if you're in a relationship with them. if you know that you're gonna fuck others then why bother getting into a relationship? why have the strings attached?

It seems to me that given the situations you find yourself in, that you might fall for a guy too fast and when he shows his true colors and proves his feelings weren't as strong, it's difficult for you to take.
