^ You didn't miss much. Tarver improved from last fight, but Dawson was off his game and still won by a significant amount. His next fight should be interesting...froch, hopkins, johnson, and maybe even calzaghe.

I watched about 6 rounds and turned it off, Dawson's a good fighter and I would like to see him fight Hopkins. Why HBO bothered to televise a rematch like this beats me. They should of offered this slot to some other fight/fighter.
don't get me wrong i'm with mayweather on this one tho.
p-rok, u wondering why hbo televised that?? i'm wondering how the hell macho camacho and yori boy campas had a ppv fight :?Quote:

^^ LOL, probably because half of my uncles ordered the fight. Speaking of Camacho, Mills Lane ( Remember the referee, "Let's Get It On"), wrote a book and said that Mike Tyson & Hector Camacho were the two biggest wastes of talent that he saw in boxing.
Just a little something i came across..thought id post it here..Some might be inactive...

^^nice, thanks.
some sick fights. thanks
Floyd Mayweather gets pissed when asked about Pacquiao:
http://twurl.nl/n7qkmq
^pac man will fuck floyd up and he knows it, "money" is about to cash out
Roy Jones Jr vs Jeff Lacey are going to box, but does anyone care?
I think he will easily win
both should just retire.
It's funny how some boxers always say that they'll retire before they lose their skills or old age. But Roy keeps fighting & looking old (should of retired after the Trinidad fight), Hopkins promised his mom he would quit at 40 (he's 44 I think), though he looked good vs. Pavlik, he should of retired after that fight. Pavlik's a good fighter but tailor made for a guy like Hopkins (like Trinidad). A lot of these fighter's have made a ton of $$, but they should retire before someone sends them into retirement (like Pacquiao did to De la Hoya).
RJJ and Lacy need to quit. I hope HBO doesn't broadcast this. I'd rather watch upcoming boxers then two boxers that are about 3 years past anything interesting.
Anyone been watching Mayweather run his mouth. Supposedly he will only fight Pacquiao if he gets 60%. And he choose to fight Marquez over Mosley because Sugar Shane isn't that good and he has too many losses.
Marquez losses -4 (biggest name Pacquiao)
Mosley losses -5 (Cotto, Forrest 2, Winky 2)
Plus, Marquez is the champion of the lightweight division, whereas Mosley is the welterweight champion. Why fight the lightweight champion at welter if your trying to prove something. PBF needs to quit making excuses and fight the best fighter out to claim himself as the best pound for pound boxer.
^^ I think Roy's company is putting this on Pay Per View. The same way he did with the Omar Sheika fight. Mosley responded to Mayweather's comments too, and said that Mayweather's PPV buys were big because of DelaHoya's & Hatton's popularity NOT Floyd's. He then said that HBO didn't like to put Mayweather's fights on PPV because of low buys before he fought Oscar & Hatton. The plan is for Miguel Cotto to beat Joshua Clottey in order to make a fight with Pacquaio in October. Pacman & Cotto share Bob Arum as promoter, so it's an easy fight to make, assuming Cotto beats Clottey.
mayweather picked this fight, because he thinks it will be the easiest, but he is going to be in for a rude awaking, and can be upset. I think clottey has a good chance to beat cotto, and what about sugar Shane vs pac man maybe they should fight.
^^ I agree, Marquez claims he trains by lifting boulders of different sizes, LOL. He's smart & adjusts quickly (see Juan Diaz). Shane vs. Pacman would be a hell of a fight, I would pick Shane though, I think he's strong & if he fights like he did with Margarito he should win.
I think if mayweather wins he will fight not pac man, not sugar shane, not cotto, not even clottey but
http://assets.espn.go.com/espnradios...kenny2_330.jpg
he will say who has beat kenny?
^^LOL, I saw the interview with Kenny & Floyd on espn.com. Kenny got under his skin, by simply asking simple, direct questions. Boxing has moved on & Mayweather doesn't seem to know that. Sort of like rappers who don't release new material in years and then wonder why their new album ain't selling. People move on.
i actually thought mayweather handled himself pretty well for being hounded by a journalist who is known for being a dick ... why do you think mayweather came into the interview on the defensive ... and he also made a good point as how these 'analysts' like to play double standards when it comes to certain boxers ... mayweather doesnt get full credit for some fights due to weight issues, yet when similar instances occur with other fighters e.g. pacman analysts still dangle on the nuts ...
PHOENIX -- Police say the 4-year-old daughter of boxer Mike Tyson has died a day after her neck accidentally was caught in a treadmill cord while she was playing at home.
Phoenix police spokesman Andy Hill said Exodus Tyson was pronounced dead in a hospital just before noon Tuesday. Police have said an investigation showed it was a "tragic accident."
Police say the girl was playing on the treadmill Monday when her head apparently slipped inside a cord hanging under the console. Exodus' 7-year-old brother found her and alerted his mother.
Former heavyweight champion Tyson was in Las Vegas at the time of the accident and flew to Phoenix on Monday.
this is a very sad story, my thoughts and prayers go out to the tyson family.
not yet, I hear it is really good.
god man i feel bad for tyson more than anyone, the man simply cannot catch a break in life
^^word.
i bet don king has something to do with it...
roger mayweather is fuckin hilarious, almost as entertaining as pbf
anyone interested in copping a manny pacman shirt
ill be making some over summer
not finalized, but check it not finished, workin on logo for back

Nice shirt. Would go nice with the shoes Nike made for Pacquiao.
So David Haye, after talking ALL that shit, has pulled out of the Wladimir Klitschko fight! Apparently due to some sort of injury....what a bitch. I swear this guy is worse than Tarver is/was.
^ hand injury
Yea, i had a feeling this fight wouldn't go through.
What's Haye's record? 18-1 or something? He should fight a couple more times before he takes on the Klitchko's. Maybe Chris Arreola.

^^looks like Sugar Shane might actually get a crack at the Pac-Man. i'd love to see Mosley win this bout, should be a barnburner if it actually goes down. i'm crossing my fingers!
Wow... Hell of a fight if it happens. I think Mosley still has the speed to counter Pacman, to go along with good stamina. At this point I would pick Shane by late round KO.
they are fighting in october, should be a great fight
^^Pac is now playing dumb about the whole thing lol. I'd say less than 50% chance of this match happening, unfortunately.
I hate when boxers do that shit, at least for the most part in ufc the best fight the best
True but IMO it's more about the money split than anything else in boxing these days. Add in the rivaling promoters, etc etc and you have the sad state of boxing. Pac's got the nuts to fight Shane but again, money can and will always fuck up a good thing in boxing. Peace!
Pacman has the leverage to demand more this time. As good as Shane is he's still not a big PPV draw. Pacman knows this won't be as easy as Hatton or De la Hoya so I don't blame him for the business aspect of this.
