I should be upset with myself for telling him and her my personal business because she mentioned to me earlier that i live with my parents and i'm not trying to get my own place. That's bullshit. I have been trying to get my own place and i've been applying for a better job but nobody has been calling me. I don't like it when people judge me because of the personal information that i tell them about myself. Nobody has the right to judge anybody because of their situation. Just because you have a good situation which means you have a nice house or a nice apartment, nice car and a good job doesn't mean that your good situation won't turn into a bad situation. I don't judge anybody. The reason why i'm still living with my parents is because i can't get a good job so i can move out. I don't like living with my parents at all. This is exactly why i'm not telling anybody else my personal business because people be thinking they have the right to judge you because of your situation.

When a tornado hit this reservation and took out a bunch of homes, clinton dumped off a bunch them shitty little trailors. They're a temporary fix, but at least it's some shelter.

but the government SHOULD step in and help people in these situations. this is why we HAVE a government. sure, there's a lot to say about personal responsibilty. but having a good job, and a lot of dough isn't gonna save you, or your house, from 6+ feet of water, and hundred mph winds.
it's easy to point fingers, and say that this group of people should've done this. do you remember when Katrina happened? the government wasn't even IN New Orleans for 3-5 days after the levees broke! Fema STILL has a field of trailors somewhere North of NO that no one has seen yet.
it was a disaster on all fronts, state leadership, federal government, the US Army, everybody failed that city.

more than anything though, it shows you how powerful Nature is. even the most advanced society in the world can't protect its people from Mother Earth. no high paying job in the world can stop a hurricane from fucking your neighborhood up.
