i called it! Clark played like shit.
oklahoma vs. texas tech FTW
the stage has been set.
Penn State should be ashamed for losing to Iowa and ruining his maybe last great chance at another Nat'l Title. Joe Pa's that is.
I told you Iowa is a good team. I mean they aint great, but at home, they have the chance to beat anyone. They matchup well against Penn State. They are physical and can match Penn States strenght.
But the real issue was the turnover by Clark at the end of the game when PSU was going in fora field goal or TD that would have put them up two possession. Then he throw the INT....terrible. I never thought he was great.
texas tech is getting euthenised! 42-7
Oklahoma is the best team in the big 12
omg they are absolutely raping texas tech.
not on the day they played Texas. The blowout over Tech was impressive no doubt but how can a team jump over you in the polls when you've got the head-to-head advantage? In my mind you can't (homerish as I am :b) Maybe OSU takes it to 'em next week and it won't even have to be debated but I think Texas sits at #2 when these next polls come out. OU at number 3 and Florida at 4 (and I think the continued failures of LSU are gonna hurt 'em, they lost bad to Ole Miss)
I agree with you eric. I think its bullshit if Oklahoma jumps Texas being that Texas beat them, but then how can you drop Tech below Texas cuz they beat Texas???
This is why college football is so fucked up and unfair. Whats probably going to happen is Florida is going to be no. 2, Oklahoma is going to be 3, Texas 4.
We'll see....Florida really doesnt deserve to move up for playing Citadel this late. I mean thats honestly like a bye week. Good thing is the conference championships should clear some things up.
But i think conference championships are lame. Sometimes they decide a conference, but lets say Tech beat Oklahoma and goes thru the reg. season undefeated than loses the conf. champ.
That would be bullshit, you should not have to beat somebody twice during the season. Not the way college ball is structured.
well texas tech bye bye BCS title game hello worthless miner bowl game (maybe)
the bcs is going to be a big headache
With the structure of things unless OU looses to OSU then yeah, there's no way for this to come out w/out any controversy. I say Tech drops from the way they got their ass beat. Granted Texas didn't handle 'em nowhere near as dominant as what OU did, but they weren't nearly as sharp in that game and Texas could've won the game they loss. If the guy slides and takes an extra play or two to get the go-ahead touchdown then Texas is undefeated and we don't have to have this conversation. idk no clear-cut way to decide things really (damn we need some playoffs in college)
and yeah the SEC playing these bullshit teams this late in the season is GARBAGE, Big 12 is the best conference in college football this year and WE don't take no shorts in the schedule anywhere once division play starts. wtf?
Yea that game and the Ohio State games were the true testament that we just arent ready. No biggie.
I got no problem being third best in the Big 10
I had to root for Michigan yesterday. You have no idea how hard that was
My dream of my two favorite teams (Mich State, Oregon State) in the Rose Bowl has faded.
Yea I hate that bullshit too. If you are going to play shit teams, play then in the early season. End of season should be scrictly conference games
Speaking of, Wisconsin in their last game of the season play CAL POLY. And only beat them by 1 point, in overtime. Pathetic
Get a fuckin rivalry game to end the season like everyone else
