Jay-z And Eminem Were Just On Yes (Yankees Network) Getting Interviewed In The Bottom Of The 4th Inning One Of The Most Awkward Interviews Ever. Playing Comerica Park And Yankee Stadium Together. I'm Sure Shit Will Be Expensive But I'm Gonna Try To Get Tickets To Yankee Stadium One.
Jay-Z is smaller than Dave O'Brien hahaha. Eminem is smaller than both. How come most rappers are small as fuck hahah. Actin' all gooned out n shit. LOL @ Jay-Z acting like his rapping at Game 2 turned the series around. Can't stand that clown.
Joba lookin' good lately, Phil Hughes is the fuckin man right now hopefully he can keep it up throughout the year I might consider throwing him out in Game 1s. That's me tho.
Hughes Has Been Great Looking Like The Pitcher Everyone Hoped He Would Become.
Yeah really.
After that little 3 game skid, that little ego checker, we getting some shit off our chest in this 9th inning. Detroit didn't look too bad this series. Can't believe we let that Jackson kid go though.
Maglio Ordonez really saved the Monday Nighter with that nice catch in the 8th inning to rob Jeter tho, if not for that we'd have taken this series I believe.
half a year late, a dollar short.
Stick to debate class bro
How long is that Hanley from the Marlins going to act like a little kid? lol
What happened to Armando Gallaraga was the biggest travesty I've ever seen.
Yeah. Bad call. The ump did man up and admit he fucked it up. Terrible time for a mistake like that!
Damn I been gone a few days without a phone or anything and just found out about this.
Total fucking bullshit. I dont even wanna get into it...
that would have been crazy to have 3 perfect games in one year, and so close to each other
it is 2010. Use fucking replays!!!
these perfect games are the result of playing getting off the steroids coupled with the fact that with free agency and no salary cap, you have four to five teams loading up and other teams getting raped....thus basically, about 5 teams in each league are pretty much tripleA teams with major leaguers peppered in.
So really its not a huge surprise if you look at the level of competition out there.
I agree it would have took 5 seconds to see he was out
it is still hard to throw a perfect game, but yeah I agree I think now we are entering a pitching era of baseball
I hear there is talks of having floating divisions meaning ever year the divisions will change , but the reason that won't happen is because the yanks/sox
I'd like to see a greater amount of teams be able to make the playoffs.
Strasberg is a bad motherfucker
14 K's in his debut. 2nd most ever in a debut
He's got some nasty movement on those pitches and some nice speed too
wow...the next Nolan Ryan
Duke showed his ass tonight for real!!... if he's gonna be throwing 100 MPH heaters and throwing nigz off guard with uncle charlie then watch out.
And that NL East is gonna be a dograce unless Philly gets their shit together so who knows maybe he can light a fire under the team and make a push for the playoffs..crazier shits happened
Great Performance For Strasburg I Was Switchin Back And Forth With The Yankee Game For Some Reason I Like The Nationals If They Can Keep There Core Group And With Harper On The Way They Can Make Noise In A Couple Of Years.
been waiting for something to feel good about in DC baseball for quite some time.
i grew up an orioles fan. i still love em', but they will probably never contend again, especially in that division, and with their shit owner.
but i like the nationals, and hope they can keep progressing
he was definitely worth the number one pick he looks like he has the potential to be the next great pitcher. washington has someone to build their team around
They aren't done. They had the #1 pick this year as well.
Don't sleep on Mike Stanton on the Marlins now... 6'5/230 pounds...3 hits in his debut tonight. Pretty good rookie class in the league this year.
Oh no. Not another Mike Stanton. One retires, another pops up. This is the third one btw.
Those two were pitchers. And his actual name is Giancarlo Cruz Michael Stanton. You'll see him a lot when he's pounding the shit outta the Mets weak ass staff.
Do you even pay attention, or you just say stuff designed to try and piss me off? Weak ass staff? Yea ok.
Yeah man you know me. You think the Mets are making the playoffs this year? [serious question]
Have you seen the standings? Yea, I think we have a good shot. Btw we shut out the Phillies, for a whole series.
Yeah but you know how the Mets get towards the end of the season. I haven't checked the standings in probably a week but aren't the Braves in first place in the NL East right now? That division has been back n forth so far. Gotta think the Phillies will get their shit together sooner or later and take a grip on it. Don't know if the Wild card will come outta the East either in that league. Mets pitching hasn't been bad but I just don't buy in to Pelfrey and Takahasi [sp?] being able to keep it up.
Mets started in first, dropped to last, two weeks later back in first, a week and a half later in last and right now we're in third 1/2 behind Philly, 2.5 behind Atlanta, but now that Maine and Perez are out of the rotation we've turned a corner. Elmer Dessens has turned into a really nice set up man. Frankie has been erratic at times, but our biggest problem right now is what to do with Beltran when he comes back. Pagan has been our most clutch hitter this season and plays a great center and Frenchy is on fire. It certainly sets us up to get a quality starter at the deadline. We're buying at the break.
Word. Ike Davis has been pretty damn good too. He a rookie right?
You ever heard of Ed Kaplan?
Ike has been pretty good considering he has been thrust into the clean up spot wedged in between Bay and Wright. He hit a walk off homer yesterday, and his defense is great, but his average leaves a lot to be desired.
Are you talking about the sports handicapper?
Yeah
Asking because he's a BIGGGG time Met fan. BIGGGG time Yankee hater. Knows his shit though I must say.
Just wondering if ya'll had heard of him up there. He thinks highly of himself so I figured he had credentials up there as maybe being on the radio other than just down here. But he does handicap, rather, did in the past. Pretty damn good and refreshing radio host to what's otherwise some lame ass sports talk in Miami.
