Faaark, been so excited about gaming tonight after a 2 week hiatus. Haven't gamed since I finished silent hill downpour.
So I tried condemned 2 and dead island. Not feeling either of em. I don't like first person games. I might fuck with them one day, but not right now. I'm gonna try saw.
Fuc'n big lolz @ what I'm guessing r supposed to b Aussie accents in dead island. It's hilarious n so fucking ridiculous when american actors try to do Aussie accents. The worst part is they put on this ridiculous Aussie/nz/English accent, but still pronounce words like Americans. It sounds so fucking absurd.
The funniest part was some guy pronouncing hotel as 'hodel'. I had to hear that few thymes before I accepted that it was really happening, lololololollolooll.
In all my thyme of gaming I have NEVER gotten familiar with which button on a ps controller is the square n which is the fucking circle. I have to turn on a light to physically check every fucking thyme. When there's onscreen prompts in a game, to press certain buttons, I have to familiarize myself before attempting it. If it happens suddenly then I've got no fucking hope.

Blinkers r left n right. The left n right buttons on a PS controller I have no problems with. The circle n square have no meaning. I can never remember which is which. The triangle is like an up arrow, up top. The x is like ur main motherfucker, smack in the most accessible location. The square n circle? Well fuck, they could just b anywhere.
Been fucking with saw on ps3. Pretty cool game IMO.

Think I'm done with Saw. Really enjoyed this game as it was pretty easy. Got to a part that's all very black n white. You've basically gotta solve a bunch of puzzles before u get blown up. Got thru it once n out the door, but then didn't know where to go n blew up. Got thru everything several thymes n then dumb shit happened like I didn't know where I was going cos it's too dark, n kept hitting dead ends till I blew up. Probably wasted a good hour on it, n that's far too much for me. Probably now or never, so I'd say I'm done with this game.
Lolz I decided to have another go at it tonight, giving myself about 45 min to attempt it, n I got it in about 10 minutes, lolz. Loads of thyme to spare too, I think. It really wasn't that hard. Just had a cunt of a thyme last night trying it.
I finished saw. Really liked the game. It was all in all really quite easy, but still with cool challenges throughout.
That's the remedy for pretty much every hard game. Walk away for a bit and kick ass later.Quote:

Gears 5. I kinda lost all hope in the franchise and thought they didn't really need to carry it on with Gears 4 but this has been surprisingly good. Good campaign with a nice open world aspect in certain acts, I thought this was probably the best Gears campaign along with Gears 2. The game is also really hard even on normal difficulty, you just get overwhelmed at certain points which is a plus for me. Better than expected and one of the best damn looking games out there. Its basically free if you get the free trial on the xbox games pass. Also if you get it on PC you can play it on Xbox, one copy works for both.
This just came out way too late in the Xbox One's life cycle. This is what Gears 4 should have been. Adding something different to the gameplay and campaign. Gears 4 was too much like the others, the franchise needed something else. I hope in the next one they can expand on the open world idea.
Been fucking with the first uncharted. A bit too heavily combat oriented for me, but still really like. Fucking love the visuals. The setting. Very last of us. I realize it's made by the same cunts. Pretty stoked I've got 3 of these games.
I’ve been playing through the Resident Evil series on PS4, trying to pick up those platinum trophies. I’m on my first playthrough of the RE2 Remake, and loving it! Still shitting myself every time Mr X shows up though!
Games like uncharted, I can only do them in pretty small doses. Like it's just the same thing over n over. U get to a scene n someone shoots at u n u find cover n know u've gotta pick off a whole bunch of cunts before u can advance n do the same thing in the next setting.
Really cool game. Just repetitive.

Some fucking ridiculous battle scene against a billion n one faggot mutant things, towards the end. Really fucking pissed me off. Haven't smashed a controller in as long as I can remember.
That was without a doubt the most pissed off I've ever gotten as an adult gamer. Rates as one of the most fucked up, infuriating parts I've ever played thru in a game.

One thing that really blows my fucking mind in uncharted is that every thyme I get to a new combat scene I'll have a really good crack at it on the first attempt n get thru a lot of it, n then when I die n retry I'll just die straight away like a hundred fucking thymes n get absolutely nowhere.
It's been a common thing for a long fucking thyme now. Dunno if it's even been like that thru the whole game. But very fucking noticeable.

The Outer Worlds. First of all this game you can play it for £1 with the Xbox Games Pass which is ridiculous.
Great RPG game. Huge worlds to explore, loads of stuff to do. The game looks great, zero bugs on PC which is shocking in this day and age. Your actions in the game actually effect the rest of your entire play through, they nailed that part. Makes the game have a ton of replay value.

Can't believe people crowdfunded it. I liked the original games back in the day but when you replay them now you realize all the flaws. Like you play an old Zelda game or game from that era that's considered good. Even today they are still good. The gameplay is there. The Shenmue's were quite dissapointing 20 years later. The 3rd one is absolute shit.
Speaking of games that aged well, still playing Tetris. It's so good I actually feel superior to non Tetris playing gamers. The emptiness of their lives scares me to no end.
I bought my kids a raspberry pi 3 and turned it into a retropie with all the Nintendo and SNES roms. Haven't tried the N64 roms yet. Got nintendo, sega, and N64 controllers that work with it (usb).
I was playing double dribble, mario 3, mortal kombat, street fighter ii, ninja turtles arcade, nba jam, but got bored quick.
I have a XFX AMD Radeon R9 270X 2 GB DDR5 on the computer. not sure what kind of pc games that can handle. Probably up to the time batman arkham came out.

It's alright I mean it's free and I ain't encountered any PUBG style bugs, gameplays good. Same Call of Duty shit, most games turn out into snipe fests though. Does take too long to kill someone. 2 full clips sometimes. 1 to down them and one to kill them while they are down. So it makes it really difficulty to slice through teams. Like I go on crazy flanking runs behind enemy teams but just don't have the ammo to kill everyone.
Played Yakuza 0 again great game.
Tetris. No need to ask. Why play anything else.
