Burial - Archangel.
I think i could listen to only Burial's albums and no other music for the remainder of eternity and be fulfilled.
True story.
^The beats are so atmospheric it's sinister.
I'd have to have some lyrics though...I wouldn't be able to do that.
Yeah i know what you mean.
But Burial has some lyrics, their just warped.
Cinematic Orchestra is pretty much all im listening to right now.
Seeing all of your posts and the amount of different acts you listen to
Somewhat inspires me to try and look into other genres...
I find it hard to leave Hip-Hop alone, it consumes me, like Anime at times.
But I do like a handfull of tracks in other genres...
Just find it hard to like an actual band or act...
Sterophonics I'm feeling them & Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Here's one of my all time favourite tracks :
Better than the original in my opinion.
I think I'll look into Andrew Strong.
You seem to be the best person to ask Pat, what you know about Chamber Music ?
Anything you could bring me in on would be dope...
Is Burial considered to be Chamber Music ?
I like Simon & Garfunkel
True story.
I'm not meant to be posting, so lets just keep this between you and i..
Anyway, i dig.
I find a lot of what people (at last myself) appreciated in hip hop, is present in different forms in other genres.
I was always more into hip hop music than lyrics really (of course im into lyrics, but beats drew me to it).
And i find most other genre's have elements of what i like about hip hop in them.
Electro, Dubstep, Soul, Funk, Trip Hop.
Rock too.
I really don't know much about 'chamber music'.
I assumed it was some form of classical music, im probably wrong though.
Sorry i'm really not, i don't listen to much classical honestly.
Not because i don't like it, i just have never known where to start and have had other stuff to check out.
Burial is 'Dubstep'.
But he also makes Half step sort of stuff also.
Maybe have a look at the Trip Hop thread in here, The Dubstep thread.
I'll try and post some more info in my downloads thread, instead of just downloads from now on.
But again, i think i'm suppose to be somewhat incognito for a bit.
Aim - Aberdeen
Haven't listen to this album in ages, and just remembering how great it is.
Really great.
