Damn, i forgot all about that fight being yesterday.
Something tells me JT won't pull out, but I agree with Abraham winning this tournament most probably. He is physically strong and mentally given a great boost. I don't see a good opponent.

ANDRE WARD is the man to watch, hes the only fighter in the tourny that has great angular shots and delivers clean punches while moving effectively, his gold medal winning mentality could be a factor in that fight.
Just watched both the Froch-Dirrell and Taylor-Abraham fights. I think it's safe to say that Taylor is nowhere near what he was and Dirrell is just another overhyped American - all he did throughout the fight was run, hold and throw a few pointless punches now and again.
It's a tough call as to who will win it though, but I'm rooting for my boy Carl Froch all the way.

Yea, he makes a good point. Even Pacquaio was recently stating that Mayweather would never fight him (even if Pacman loses to Cotto it would still be a great fight). If Floyd really wanted a good fight to make his critics shut up he should of fought Shane Mosley next.
Paul Williams is fighting Sergio Martinez on Dec. 5. Should be a solid fight. Kelly Pavlik finally pulled out after his staph infection on his fist. Didn't know what a staph infection looked like until they showed Pavlik's hand, & it looked pretty bad.
Haye deservedly wins the WBA title, although it was a stupidly boring fight Haye's tactics worked. Valuev didnt really do anything. Haye was more accurate with his punches.

Floyd dont want this. Floyd is the best boxer to have a chance with Pac because of his incredible evasive style, but he dont want it. Hes gonna keep avoiding him like hes avoiding MOsely. If hes avoiding Moseley hes never gonna fight Pac man.
i mean in the fact Cotto didnt go down for the count and it nearly went the distance. the ref should have stopped the fight earlier, or let it go the distance... rather than stopping it half way through the last round.

I think Pacman vs. Mayweather has the potential to break the PPV buys of Floyd's fight with Oscar De La Hoya. I was rooting for Cotto, but Pacman is great for boxing. With MMA & wrestling taking more money & attention away from boxing these days it's good to see fights like these get the attention they deserve. People were wondering who the "next" De la Hoya would be in terms of popularity & crossover appeal & his name is Pacman.

Damn, once again Pacquiao surprises me again. Floyd should get this fight signed and split it 50/50 (or 60 to the winner); Pacman deserves it.
